LOVED this hotel! Doesn't feel like a hotel at all. Feels like a really cool apartment building. You can walk to everything and some rooms have views! It's old, but VERY well maintained! Best to spend a few days here.

Such a cool historic hotel in an amazing central location. Surrounded by great shops and restaurants and the beach! There are a lot of stairs so just be prepared for that but if you are staying in one of the view rooms, it’s well worth the climb!

The staff at the Palace Hotel was amazing. Super friendly and helpful !! The icing on the cake was that after I checked out and was already at the ferry terminal to catch my ride to Whidbey Island, they called to tell me that I left my charging cord in my room. Unfortunately, I couldn't leave the ferry terminal so they graciously and without hesitation offered to run it down to me !!! How sweet is that ! Highly recommend this charming hotel w fabulous customer service !!!!!

Fantastic place to stay. The location was superb. We will absolutely stay there again. Easy to walk everywhere in town. Only caution is the great rooms on the 3rd floor are accessed via stairs. We are able to get up and down them but could be a challenge for some.
