My biggest issue was the lack of a door latch security bar. I probably should have raised the issue at the time but it was late, we had to be up early, and I didn’t have much hope any other room would be in better shape. The direct TV box didn’t work. The room was dingy and many surfaces were marred, like the toilet seat and bath tub. Every time we flushed the toilet a horrible smell emanated into the room. The bathroom fan was apparently actually a heater which only exacerbated the issue. The beds were hard and only had two pillows each, topped with very thin blankets. The lobby fireplace touted in the description was boarded up, not that I had big plans to spend time in the lobby. At check in I was asked multiple times if I had a pet with me, maybe sneaking in animals is a huge problem at this hotel? I wish I’d read the multiple 2 and 4 star reviews instead of glancing at the average when I booked. I’m usually not much of a princess (or a review writer) and have stayed at many basic, no frills hotels but I’ve apparently found my lower comfort limit and OYO Junction aka Segovia Lodge falls below it.
