No VIP access even I booked

I booked under VIP access. When I arrived, they didn't give me any upgrade or 20% food and beverage discount coupon. I need to ask the reception. He said my room already upgrade and no more 20% discount coupon but my colleague booked without VIP access. Her room is higher floor and even nicer than mine. I felt cheating.

Location is good. But not worth.

Location is ok. But room is not that good. Have some smell inside the room. And too many people in hotel starting from check in , life and restaurant . Very crowd. May be they have some group tour lived there. It is not worth at this price level.

Nice location and helpful staff

Easy to find in a good location and the staff were very helpful in suggesting parking in advance of us arriving. There is some renovation work taking place so the reception was busy with check ins as it couldn’t cope with the space, and the breakfast room felt overly busy with little space between tables. Room was comfy and being just outside the city centre meant it was a nice walk to and from the hotel wound stay there again

On arrival we were met at reception by a lovely gentleman i told him i was paying in cash he objected said hed perfer card i had forgotten my card i told him and i said you cant refuse cash it against the law then he said ill take cash but you hsbr to pay €100 extra as a deposit and get it back tomorrow!! Pure ridiculous 🙄 then we went to our room to find the carpet in the bedroom was wet and a throw was missing off one of the beds ..wevt to restaurant for a meal every table was reserved i told waiter we were residents abd he got us a table we ordered cheese garlic fries and wings no cheese on the fries wings were completely over done wouldn't stay here again or recommend this hotel over priced and basic !!

Unprofessional and not wheelchair accessible

We had requested a room that is wheelchair accessible...But it's the complete opposite, the shower is not wheelchair accessible and the room was hard to navigate. The staff were not friendly or helpful, I had 3 luggages and not one member of the front desk or staff even helped...The only time someone helped was when a kitchen staff saw us entering the building and asked if we needed help to hold the door for my wife since she's in a wheelchair...The room wasn't very clean, there was a suspicious stain on one of the chairs.

screamin kids and no peace. just banging and drill

when I travel ... I look for a hotel with spa (sauna and steam room must be) because of a medical problem... when I come they tell me sauna is broken and will fix tomorrow.. that was like this for the first 4 days of the seven... steam room usually not very hot... spa is not its a puplic gym with swimming pool ... so everyday was full of kid in swimming lesson and therefore no quiet and peace but just screaming kids everyday Bed are very hard... toilet is small and shower very old... also they don´t tell us that this hotel is under renovation and so every morning from 9 to 4 there is banging and drilling so no peace to sleep out... when I was checking out I asked if I get discount of the stay because of all this ... sauna and the renovation they said no... you can get free meal or breakfast ... I could have choose to stay in other clayton hotel very close to the place where the festival was but I choose this one because of the spa... very disappointed of this... will not stay again this company
