I feel badly about leaving this negative review, but perhaps it can help the management to improve.
We booked this hotel because it was near to our relatives and the website looked nice. The room and the service were just not acceptable.
There were 4 hangers in the closet when we arrived, and when we asked the receptionist for more, she was surprised that we needed 10. We were there 4 days for a wedding and had special clothes we needed to hang. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows oversized for a Queen bed, making them difficult to use. The 2 regular sized pillows in the closet were too hard and uncomfortable to use. The bottom sheet on the bed was not fitted and wrinkled badly during the night. The bath towels were very worn and had holes. But, the worst thing was that there was no room cleaning. The second day, I asked reception to have the room serviced in the morning before we left the hotel at 9am. Nothing happened until 2pm when a young girl came in with towels and asked if that was all we wanted, I had to ask her to clean the bathroom and to vacuum, all of which she did in just a few minutes. That was the last we saw of any room servicing. We were busy with family and didn’t have time to monitor the situation and to inform the seldom staffed front desk. I cannot recommend this hotel. Even though other hotels are a bit further away from our relatives, we will be using them in the future.
