Really nice place! We found safe parking in front and absolutely loved our room. The young gentleman that checked us in was very nice and helpful. The chef the next morning made us a delicious meal. This place was very close to downtown and we just walked the block to lots of places to show, sightsee, or eat. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The cutest bed & breakfast ever! The food was amazing and the inn was so cozy and accommodating. This was our first stop on our honeymoon and I would highly recommend this stay for anyone passing through Bar Harbor.

We loved Hearthside Inn

We had a wonderful stay. We visited the first weekend of May 2025 and the staff was great. Our room was excellent and the breakfast was above and beyond. We also love the freshly baked sweet treats they provided in the afternoon. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Great breakfast, very comfortable bed, nice location. Note for those with physical limitations, there isn’t a lot of parking in front of the building and there are many stairs. Neither was a problem for us though.

Hearthside Inn was an absolute gem to stay in. The customer service was wonderful and polite, the room was incredibly chic, cozy, and clean. Parking was easy all around Bar Harbor. We absolutely loved the location so we could walk around town after exploring Acadia. My fiance proposed on Cadillac mountain, so I truly will never forget our stay at Hearthside and we cannot wait to come back!

Traveling to Bar Harbor in off season is amazing. Parking is easy and you can explore all the hotels (though not all are open year round). We love Hearthside for its charm, attention to detail, cleanliness, value, and the amazing innkeeper on staff. Thank you Julianna for a great experience!

Absolutely lovely! The Inn, staff and Inn Keeper are wonderful. Beds are comfortable, rooms clean, and the common areas are wonderful. Within walking distance of everything.

A lovely B&B. We had a super late check in due to a series of unfortunate events, and they were super accommodating. Lovely atmosphere, right downtown, like the shortest walk ever, and a delicious breakfast. 10/10 will stay again.

The location of the the inn was excellent! Walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. The food, breakfast and afternoon snacks were all home made and wonderful. Unfortunately the coffee was consistently weak and watery so we popped over to get espresso at nearby A Slice of Eden. The rooms were well appointed but the mattresses are a little old or just soft and spring feeling ish. Not sure which but would appreciate firmer bed quality…. which would escalate the experience at Hearthside immensely. Overall a very good experience though I would probably opt to try another inn next time based on the mattress. Very sweet staff!
