We stayed in room 110, was spacious and in good condition although bathroom felt a bit tired. The Castle and groynds were easy walk from hotel and very enjoyable as we visited after breakfast and missed the crowds. Very commercialised village, ate in Christy's food was nice but very noisy. Breakfast was ok very busy.

Facilities are poor for guests

This hotel is in a very good location and nice to say in however the hotel lacks in facilities for its guests nothing happens in the hotel the bar area the christie’s bar is only a restaurant they don’t stock a lot of Choice when it closed there is nothing else to do at the hotel it feels like they just want you to go to your room and not bother them even when you have breakfast in the morning it’s not a pleasant experience as you have to go into the large cafe that is for the bus loads of people that arrive to visit the castle near by you have to go to the furthest point in the café be seated and everything I ask the server to order me from the menu the response was “I don’t think we can do that as we only have a microwave on the frying pan” not the servers fault it’s the hotel not having a good Focus on its guests

Fin byggnad i trevlig miljö, nära pub och slottet. Ok frukost, tog lång tid för dem att fylla på yoghurt, skålar och croissanter. Nonchalant personal i incheckningen. Fint rum, sköna sängar, bra med parkering precis utanför entrén.

Nice Stay

The hotel is lovely and in it's own grounds with a pub, restaurant and fabulous shop. Only negative was the selfish people who made a lot of noise in the early hours of the morning. The pillows were a bit lumpy. Otherwise it was comfortable and really clean.

Excellent Quality Hotel

Fantastic hotel in a great location outside of Cork. It’s a picturesque drive in and out of Cork to the hotel - about 20/25 mins in total depending on the junction you leave. This was our 2nd stay in 12 months as we travel to Cork regularly. The hotel never disappoints with friendly staff and the breakfast menu / quality of a luxury restaurant! The rooms are bright and clean with up to date colours. Our stays are always B&B as there is so many quality pubs / restaurants in nearby Bandon or Ballincollig to enjoy besides the excellent breakfast sets you up for the day. Will return again no doubt.

Wonderful location, hotel and breakfast

The Blarney Hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful and right beside Blarney Castle which was the main purpose of our visit. I was unwell at the time of visit and the front desk receptionist was very helpful with advice for a dr in the area and also offered to make some hot water with lemon and honey which I gratefully took her up on! The genuine service and care was lovely. The breakfast was fantastic! After traveling for almost 3 weeks and have several subpar hotel breakfasts this one really was amazing! We did eat at Christy's Grill which was next door, which was only OK, but location was admittedly convenient. Would have loved to stay longer, would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable stay + great breakfast!

Great stay at this wonderful hotel. Good room size and very clean! A very comfortable stay! 5 minute walk to the castle, and a nice pub right next door. Breakfast is fantastic! The Woolen Mills store on the property has a lot of very nice things - careful if you’re in a shopping mood! Lots of sights within a short drive’s distance. Mind the schools if driving to Cork - they do cause some backup on the roads/streets. Overall a great stay here - would definitely stay here again if visiting Cork area!

Zauberhafter Wohlfühlort mit Charme

Ein wunderschöner Ort, liebevoll restauriert, in einer alten Woll-Mühle. Die Zimmer sind groß und picobello, mit irischen Wollplaids und allem Komfort. Sogar USB und USB-C Anschlüssen an den Betten. Das Bad war groß und ebenfalls sehr sauber. Die schlechten Kritiken, die ich hier gelesen habe, müssen aus einer anderen Zeit stammen. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum. Ich hatte Avocado Toast, meine Tochter Eggs Benedict. Cappuccino, Croisssnts, frisches Obst - exzellent. Wir sind begeistert. Habe extra noch Fotos aus dem Zimmer gemacht, weil es mir extrem leid getan hat, so schlechte Bewertungen zu lesen. Das Haus ist top.

Great location for an overnight stay

The overall hotel is great, breakfast is great and the people were great. We were a little surprised by the "simplicity" of the rooms. We expected something a little more fancy for the price. Walking distance from Blarney Castle and Gardens. It was my birthday and they broght me a dessert birthday platter which was delicious...thank you:)

Excellent hotel

Excellent stay, beautiful hotel, only issue was getting a table in the bar for food, staff were very uninterested, we left and went into the town for dinner. Breakfast in The Mill was excellent and staff were so friendly and attentive, will def be back!
