The area was quiet, considering that a major street was less than a block away and the traffic in Panama City is legendary rude, busy and loud. Off-street parking is good, especially when you have figured out the car elevator! The staff was very helpful and courteous. My only complaints are; 1) no coffee available or in room during the day 2) very few toiletries in the room - only 2 small tubes of hair-care products and a small cake or soap, 2 people - 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels, additional towels or even some soap for the shower and some facial tissue would have been nice.

Wonderful Hotel and Staff

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mio. Stayed one night when I first arrived in Panama and booked a 3-night stay upon leaving Panama. The customer service was excellent. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, TV had many channels and the restaurant was excellent. It has a gym and pool on the rooftop. Everyone was so accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of. The staff had a way of making the guest feel special. The hotel location is on a side street off of a much busier street so people may not know it's there. The cost is less than some of the hotels on the busy street. We will be returning to Panama City in a few months, and we already plan to stay at Hotel Mio again.

While in Panama, I stayed at Hotel Mio. Its located in Panama city, around lots of restaurants, stores and strip malls. Very easy to get anywhere from this hotel. KFC located on the corner. The hotel itself is visually appealing, clean, smelled good, room was nice sized, bed and pillows were VERY comfortable, tv was in spanish tho, there was a nice rooftop with a pool, gym, and great views of the city. Staff was delightful. A light breakfast was provided free daily, and there is a nice little restaurant in the lobby connected to the hotel. Parking is also available. I'd advise you to Uber. Unfortunately, i didn't have a good experience with the man in thr front desk on Saturday Feb 18 in the morning. When i booked this hotel said that include thr transportation to the airport, i showed it to him and with a bad attitude he called an uber to cover it

This really is a quality hotel at bargain rates in an ideal location for someone who wants to be in central PC. It is modest, not fancy. It is clean and the front desk is very English speaking when needed. The rooms are very quiet, but again, not fancy. The bed was quite comfortable. It made me sad to give only 4* because there were frustrating internet problems the first two days, which did get fixed. I was happy enough to extend my stay when it became needed.
