This hotel is very well managed. It is centrally located on the waterfront with easy access to all the activities and restaurants of Lunenburg. It has some great views of the bay!! We loved our stay at the Rum Runner Inn. We stayed in the studio loft room which was very nice with a window with a harbor view. The room was full of light (they provided eyeshades for night) with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The shower was AMAZING—one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel. The only downside and I don’t necessarily think I can blame Rum Runner is the lack of parking in Lunenburg—it was a nightmare. We would definitely stay at Rum Runner again, but would just pay the $25 to park in the harbor parking lot rather than waste time driving around looking for a space.

Our room and the check-in area were very clean and the staff was friendly. We had a lovely view of the harbor, the Bluenose II, and the horse drawn carriages on Bluenose Drive from an enclosed sunroom off our bedroom. Very pleasant and many good restaurants, shops, and the waterfront within easy walking distance.

We loved our overnight stay at RumRunner. The room was super clean, comfortable, with special touches that made you feel welcome. It has a communal balcony that with a view of the harbor where you can have some quiet time with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. The staff was very friendly and was there to greet us even though we arrived somewhat late. We would be happy to return!
