When we arrived the first room had mold on the ceiling and behind the beds on the walls. The sliding door would not open to the balcony and a chair in the room that was just disgusting. They moved us to a 2nd room where the door opened but there was mold on the actual mattress in this room. I decided to cancel my reservation and book with another hotel! These conditions are a real health concern. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here! The pools were absolutely disgusting and the overall cleanliness of the entire property. They are also not working with me in a timely manner on getting a refund! They are planning to charge me fees when I didn’t spend more than 5 minutes in either of these rooms!

First and foremost, the name of the motel is NOT The Polynesian Golf and Beach Resort it is simply the Polynesian Oceanfront Hotel. I rolled in after a 13 hour drive, confused that i was at the wrong spot only to find out i was. We checked in. "Resort" is a stretch. The lobby was dirty and my "resort view" was actually the road in front of the hotel. Of which the few hours i was there all i heard was engines reving, and people walking by. The elevator did not work well. Bits of concrete were gouged out everywhere. On the surface the room was clean, but definitely not. We wore shoes the whole time. The curtain had bug holes in it, a search to plug my phone in revealed 3 items plugged together with electrical tape and another outlet popped out of the wall. We did not feel safe. The matresses were 2 different sizes and the one i laid on felt like it was from a pull out couch or left over from the 1970's! After an upgrade that resulted in a beachfront view the room had no AC and the balcony door would not close!! Needless to say, i checked out exhausted from no sleep and pissed as the staff insinuated that i did not do my due diligence on the hotel before booking. I have photos to back up all the things i stated however they will not upload.

Bed was dirty, stained on sheets. I took a picture of the stained sheets. It was a very disturbing feeling to discover that cleaning staff of room #120 should be reprimanded. I will never stay that hotel, again.

It is an older motel but was a decent place to be right on the strip and the price wasn’t bad. I didn’t know it was motorcycle week when I came but still wasn’t bad at all. The bathroom sink did back up on me a couple times. But you’re just a few steps from the beach also. Was nice to be able to have my dogs and a room with no carpet so no problems there. If I needed a room again I wouldn’t mind staying there again. My room had a kitchenette in it and it had everything needed in it to cook.

Floor was nasty in the room . Had to wrar flops or feet would be black . Housekeeping NEVER came to clean anything at all our entire stay. Supposed to have housekeeping every day. Had to run down towels , trash bags etc. We cleaned our room ourself. We notified the desk and they said " oh really " . The only good thing was the actual bed was clean , sheets were clean.

We stayed 4 days and 3 nights , we could not go anywhere in our car because parking was so bad , so if it wasn't near we didn't get to go because we had to walk everywhere we went. Other than parking it was good.

This was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. When we arrived to check in there were cops there about a dispute with the hotel manager and a couple that wanted their money back because of the ci diction of the room. Another lady was crying in the lobby because they towed her car with the hotels placker in the window. Seeing all that I should have known it wasn’t going to be good. My husband and I went and looked at the room and it was in horrible conditions. It stunk like pot, the carpet had to be as old as me (56). We paid for an ocean view and we got a parking lot. The bed was so nasty we couldn’t do it. Staying there would have made me itch for days or break out with some kind of STD. As we were leaving there was a drug deal going down in the hotel garage and shots were fired. We scrambled for cover and ran to the office and demanded our money back. She told us she could give us back our money but she could refund the resort fee. I looked at her and said “resort fee”? You call this place a resort I call it a hooker hotel off of COPS.

For a beach hotel it was ok….No frills great if you have kids and want an indoor pool which is a really good size. The bathroom needs updating and the bathroom sink was backed up but they did have maintenance there immediately for me the floors needed to definitely be swept better and mopped but all in all my grandson was happy with the pool and only a half mile from the amusement park
