I was in town for a work trip, and due to increased crime in Oakland, was relieved to stay at a hotel located in a safer area. They offered valet for parking my rental and that was fantastic. The hotel offered complimentary breakfast which my husband and daughter liked. The staff are super friendly which made our visit even better.

A diamond in the rough

Needed to go to Oakland for a medical procedure. This hotel is definitely a diamond in the rough. I had excellent service. They were courteous, kind and took care of all my needs while in Oakland, I would stay there again excellent.

Super Friendly Staff

Bethany at the front desk was beautiful and really helpful in making my stay comfortable. As a disabled senior in a wheelchair, I appreciated her making sure I had an ADA accessible room and extra help with my luggage and accommodations. Braxton at Otto was super attentive and very respectful on the occasions he waited on me. I will definitely use Kissell Uptown again.
