This hotel is ok. But right off the bat, when I got there it took an hour to check in due to a ridiculously long line that went out the lobby and through another room. I’ve never experienced anything like that. Granted, it was Easter weekend.
It is right on the beach which is great but the overall quality is not great. It’s very dusty. For instance there’s a Murphy bed and if you pull it out, there’s YEARS of accumulated dust behind it. I questioned whether we were even supposed to use it or know it was there. The mattresses on the beds are not comfortable. I left with a back ache. The kitchen and the bathroom were actually very well kept so that was good.
The hotel is huge and is very loud at all hours. Lots of door slamming, knocking, shouting, etc. Smells of all sorts of smoke were down the walkways. It’s a huge place with lots of guests so I think that’s just to be expected so this part isn’t really even a complaint, just an observation.
I honestly think it’s a good hotel for a group of young people to get away for spring break. We had 4 different beds in our suite. Which was ideal. I would’ve enjoyed myself there with my friends in college. I just didn’t like the atmosphere for my family.
