Great hotel in a great location. We walked to the bus station for our tour of lochness and its an easy walk to lots of dining options and a grocery store. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent so do eat there at least once during your stay.
This is taken from a walking bridge right down from the hotel. The hotel is on the right side of this river.

It deserved actually 5 stars, because it has great location and good hospitality. Great drinks and ok breakfast. Normally I am very noble in my judgement - But - we didn´t have hot water in the bathroom for almost 2/3 of our stay. Which is a catastrophe going out in the sun and back before heading to town again. And when we mentioned it in the reception, nothing could be done, even though the girl said she would call the manager. And for a expensive hotel like that it is not ok. I said to the poor receptionist upon leaving that we should have a discount, but she couldn´t give us one. So we overpayede for having cold water - thus the 3 stars
