They attempted to charge my card at 8pm, before I even arrived, without my consent. It declined bc I was paying with a different card at check in when I got there. I arrived an hour later to try to check in and they had canceled my reservation. After a whole issue with that and no explanation on why it was done, once we officially checked in, the room we got was dirty. A used bonnet was in the pull out couch, brown sticky residue was on all the counter surfaces, dirt was in the beds, trash in the floor, etc. The pool cabinet rarely had any towels and the lights in the pool didnt turn on until after 11:30pm. We almost always had an issue with our key cards after leaving and coming back to our room. Our room had no blow dryer, and after a friend in another room said theirs had to be replaced bc it was broken, we asked for one for our room and was told they couldnt help us with that. Another friend in a separate room had to get their room changed due to at least 2 live roaches in their room. The lights in the hallway were leaking. We stayed an entire week due to our event and our group staying together at the location, but if this were a vacation with no strings attached we definitely would have left. They told us that they only charge for 1-2 days at a time rather than the 7 we had our reservation for, and after staying there I fully understand why. On a positive note, some of the staff were friendly, and the continental breakfast was a decent variety.
