Very nice people and great prices. I recommend anyone to stay here.

8/10 Very good

Historic building needs some TLC but was overall nice and the employees were super helpful and friendly.
Laura, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Stayed for sporting event. Excellent proximity to stadium.

10/10 Exceptional

We really enjoyed our stay here. My kids enjoyed the arcade a lot and the concierge even gave my son a roll of quarters to use there. We really liked the views from our room and the walkability of the location. Wheeling is a really neat town and this hotel's locations is at the heart of it. We'd definitely stay here again.

4/10 Fair

The Mclure house used to be a great old hotel to stay. The only shinning spot is the staff at the hotel bar. Rooms are run down tv hasnt worked since jan 2023.
Troy, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Strictly average

Hotel is quite dated. No amenities. Located was good.
Wayne, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Positives: Location, location, location…walking distance to Capitol Music Hall and all of downtown. The lobby is spacious and festive for holiday…nice staircase! Parking garage is easily accessible. Negatives: Heating system (cold!) and restaurant/bar is closed. Breakfast is minimal.
Cathy, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Room was dirty, we were given dirty towels, room smelt like cigarettes
Gail, 1-night trip

Good Budget Hotel But Needs Love

The hotel needs a lot of love - the rooms were clean and the people were friendly, which is what really matters, but everything was extremely dated, the parking garage entrance was broken, the cable wasn't working, the "river view" is only sort of true, and the elevators are shaky and missing the inspection certificates.
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Poor welcome

It was very comfortable but I didn’t like that there was no signage inside or marking’s telling much about the lobby or if there was a commentary
Forrest, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Staff was friendly. Room was clean but no pillow cases and smelled like cannabis. No sign on the building except for a small historic plaque. Parking garage was not secure and elevator smelled of urine. Did not feel secure staying at this location.
Steve, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Needs work but nice

The hotel was very old and no A/C. The employees were very apologetic and nice though and explained they were being bought by Ramada and in process of the sale and potential remodeling. It needs it badly, it’s a beautiful place.
Debbie, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Bathroom was very outdated
Tracy, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

NEVER STAY HERE!!!

Terrible, disgusting, awful. Fleas, bedbugs, no air condition, no sheets, badly stained towels, no extra towels, vomit running down side of bed. Terrible owner. Lied to expedia & refused to refund our money after we did not stay. I would put pics but site won't allow me.
2-night trip

6/10 Good

I spent my hard earned money for the room and no cable the WiFi didn't work well. I should receive a discount. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.
James, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This is an older hotel and, as most older hotels, there is a bit of defered maitnenance. HOWEVER, the staff is working hard to correct this. They are freindly and knowledgable and willing to help. This is one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel.
Michael, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Quite possibly the worst hotel in the United States. Smelly & moldy. This hotel is a total scam. The photos advertised are not what the actual hotel looks like. Beware! It’s a scam. Again, moldy and a feeling of yuckiness.
Rudolph, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Lime and Calcium build up. Toilet seat needed to be replaced. Window wouldn't shut fully and AC didn't work.
Jordan, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Air condition did not work well at all and the tv remote did not work and overall was not a good stay Dissapoointed especially for the price
