OK price/mediocre value on the Leelanau Pennisula

Room was hot. Battle of AC vs heat! Hallway was stifling hot. Newly renovated. No hair dryer was available as the new ones hadn’t arrived yet.

While the hotel doesnt really have any amenities, it is clean, safe and the staff was very friendly. The one amenity the do have is a shuttle to the casino. It would be a quick walk but its great to have this option in the winter.we will definitely be back!

Our check in was so easy, 11/8/24 and our request for exra towels and pillows was already in the room. Our shuttle driver (George)? for the nite was the best we ever had. He was so pleasant and even offered to take us to the gas station to get snacks and beverages if needed. We have been coming here for years for annual trip, and this is the first time that any driver has ever offered to do this. Its the little things that makes it a great experience.

Bathroom clean but small. Room was very warm, 76 degrees, could not cool the room without opening the balcony door. Rooms small.

Enjoyed Casino...not so much lodging

Very basic. Was disappointed we didn't get any free play credit or meal credit at the Casino. Should of drove on the Turtle Creek. Not a good value.

the lodge was great disapointed resturant was closed did'nt go inside casino the area is beautiful in the fall and we were very happy withthe wineirers I did'nt ask about resturarnt just assomed there would be a nice one with the casino it was my birthday and im 89 so i probalby won't be back but if I ever go anyplace again I'll know to ask more questions

Great property to stay at. The only thing is the shower drain did not drain properly and while taking a shower the water was up to my ankles as I was washing my hair and body. Also a small pub table would have been nice to sit at and eat in the room.

Needs TLC, deep cleaning, and pest control!

We stayed one night at this location for our five day trip. First concern was the hotel hallway; it is very beat up and needs deep cleaning. The carpet was coming and in terrible shape. Our room furniture was also needy some TLC, curtains had spots & around the shower needed deep cleaning. The worse part was when we woke up at 7am and my husband had red bumps all over him. They appeared to be bug bites. I was wearing long sleeve top and long bottoms and had nothing. We quickly packed and left. He told the front desk, the lady working seemed uninterested. He did suggest that someone look at the room prior to having anyone stay in the room.
