you pay what you get and it is more than that

the price of the new york hotel is super expensive nowdays. For this price，very convenient location to PATH, the train to new york with supermarket nearby. i feel very satisfied. Moreover, the staff there are very helpful. i spent 3 nights there. Just 1/2dats at the monrong，i dont know which floor, they have something sound like knocking since 8am.

kitchen’s equipment is doing well. But accessories status is not. Bed is comfortable, while sofa bed is not very clean. Location is good, which close to journal square transport center. No room maintenance , but front desk are easy to communicate.

Logement propre et bien situé (à 3mn à pieds du Path), grande cuisine mais pas du tout équipée (3 couteaux, 4 fourchettes pour 5 personnes). Nous étions au rez de chaussée avec une vue sur un mur, nous entendions la musique du hall d'entrée qui fonctionnait 24h sur 24. Assez cher pour ce que c'était.

Not Recommended to Stay

I wanted to share my recent experience, and I would strongly recommend avoiding a stay here for at least the next year. There is major construction happening right across from the hotel, with loud noise starting as early as 7 AM every day. The street is closed to traffic, so guests are required to walk some distance to reach the hotel, and there is no available parking. Additionally, the hotel rooms were not clean, and housekeeping did not provide daily room cleaning services during my stay. The only positive aspect is its proximity to the Journal Square train station, which is within walking distance.

Nice Spot

Very convenient location. The desk staff was very nice, and the room was spacious. The linens were very good, and the beds comfortable. Like other reviewers have said, they don't clean the rooms daily, so you'll need to re-use your towels, etc. But, for the price, you couldn't ask for more. If I had any nits, the kitchen needs more utensils, pots, pans, and glasses. The cabinets need a little TLC with their construction, the room's soundproofing wasn't good around the door, and the bathroom needs ventilation (you can see that the steam buildup is already affecting the walls and ceiling). Overall though, I would stay here again. And, being close to India Square is a definite plus!

The best hotel to stay at

My friends and I stayed here. I can only say that I am very happy with the warm welcome and the wonderfully cozy room, very clean and it had a kitchen and a rooftop terrace to see the views of New York. Without a doubt, the best place we could have stayed. There is also a supermarket and several shops nearby and the Journal Square station is very close. Thank you very much, I will definitely come back another time.

Good room. Watch out for noisy neighbors.

The room was clean, amenities were fine. But the two nights we stayed, there was a group of men next door partying until 4am and did not let my fiance and I sleep. We couldn’t even get a hold of the front desk. Happened both nights and we did not get any sleep at all.

Very close to train station Journal Station going to NYC ( red line goes straight to Memorial station NYC) and Hoboken line ( yellow line) straight to Midtown ( Macy Store) Clean and good amount of space for 4 people - kitchen is nice ( option to cook) esp during late night craving) Need to fix the shower door and toilet paper dispenser ( but still works) Option for luggage storage is a plus - just need to arrange when to pick up as sometimes no front desk Make sure to ask their phone number or how they could be reach just in case when you come back to pick up your luggage . ( suggestion for the hotel to have a NYC and NJ map handy for first time traveller)

Had a good stay at this hotel nothing too negative to say. Friendly and on point staff. Welcoming and prepared to assist in any way possible. Inquiries answered promptly and respectfully. Hotel may be a little unorthodox but nonetheless very down to earth. Would stay here again if needed to.

Our room was in the first floor next to trash place.outide room smells trash and inside smells bleach.bleach unhealthy to use for mopping the floor.bathroom pealed paint in the wall and sealing.the hanger broken. The back door to our room doesn't lock which make you fell unsafe.and the worst of the worst the heat old and not working. the thermostat reading high temperature.and heater doesn't blow heat.I called the front desk concierge twice.He keeps turning it on and off with no results.I got really mad.I text my agency.they called the hotel and they asked me if I want to leave early(check out early ) they will refund me the full amount I paid.I booked a different hotel the same night.it has been 2 weeks now and i still with no refund.they're all lairs.and fake advertisement for the hotel.I have the pictures.
