The hotel is quiet and peaceful, which we appreciated. The food was good, and the location is convenient—just a short walk to the beach. However, we were a bit disappointed that the hotel doesn’t provide chairs or umbrellas on the beach. We had to pay $30 per day for two chairs and an umbrella, which is unusual based on our past hotel experiences where beach seating was typically included. Also, we found the female staff members to be less friendly than expected. Overall, it was a decent stay, but a few improvements could make it even better.

I liked that the property was adults only with a quick walk to the main road. The property offered breakfast and dinner. We would have liked to choose 2 meals a day because there were several good restaurants in town that offerred better dinner and breakfast options for us (I.e. acai bowls for breakfast.) The food at the hotel was delicious. We especially loved the shrimp quesadilla at lunch. We also would have liked bottle water to be included. Maybe not endless bottles but maybe one bottle? We ended up going to the pharmacy and buying 6 large liter bottles. The AC worked amazingly in our room. It was lovely to take a break is a cool room after tanning by the beach.

The staff is awesome - very customer friendly. The food is exquisite and they even offer another dining option for downtown during your visit which is great if you want to try something different. Cet hôtel porte bien son nom.

Chambre et salle de bains très grandes et bien équipées. Petite terrasse agréable mais dont la vue était occultée par la verdure. (N°16), aussi demander un chambre située dans les étages. Jardin magnifique, soigné. Un plus: l'accès à la plage par une allée ombragée et espace pelouse avec jacuzzi et chaises longues, bar face à la mer réservé à l'hôtel. Petit déjeuner-buffet très varié.

Truly a Garden of Eden Resort

Truly a Garden of Eden Resort. We liked how Compact the Resort was. Everything was easy to enjoy - Pools, Restaurant, Spa, secluded Rooms and a Private area overlooking the Beach. Just step through a private exit to walk on the Public beach. We enjoyed watching the Surfing - great medium size waves. The private grounds were in immaculate shape. Our Room was spacious and literally steps from the largest Pool. (Ask for a Room number in the forties) All this and yet right next to the town of Tamarindo with restaurants and nightlife. Thank you Kevin (beach bartender) and Alan and Deiner for the AWESOME Service especially at Breakfast and Dinner. We also enjoyed the privacy of the spa for our Swedish massages. Much better than on the public beach. We were happy with all of the menu options at both the buffet breakfast and the evening dinners - both included in our room rate. We will be back.
