The staff were great and the use of the luggage storage before checkin was handy. The hotel was close to the station which was perfect. The room was clean, although the carpets a bit dated, the walls are quite thin and you can hear the toilet above flushing every time really loudly. But for a short overnight stay was fine and lovely restaurants for dinner close by.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station, it’s around 5mins walk. Receptions are super friendly and very helpful. Room was okay, little bit outdated but very clean. Would definitely do with a new carpet as it was stained. Beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect.

Inexpensive and basic

We only needed one night in a hotel near the Gare du Nord so we had easy access to the RER B to the airport. In that context, the hotel was just fine. Easy walk to train. The hotel seems like it's undergoing renovation. Lobby and hallway are shabby. Bed was comfortable and room and bathroom were clean. Room was very small but, again, fine for one night especially given the low price. The breakfast was not good. Recommend going to a cafe. Neighborhood is dicey especially heading toward Metro Denfert-Rochechouard. But it's walking distance to Montmatre and Sacre-Coeur. Overall: it's a very economical choice and you get what you pay for.

Feel the photos were a bit misleading, technically it is what the rooms look like but maybe 10 years ago. Quite a bit of paint is chipping, you can tell there have been many leaks as the ceiling and walls are quite stained. Staff was incredibly polite and is very convenient for the bus! The sleeping part of the room was good. Comfy bed and spacious. The balcony was over a fairly quiet street and appreciated. The shower was very large. The sink was in the room, and the toilet was in a little triangular corner, put there as an afterthought. There must be a better way to use the space. Walls are very thin, I could hear my neighborss conversations. The elevator is microscopic. There is a second one but it leads only between floors, but not to the reception. Not indicated. The breakfast was sub standard, very few choices. The breakfast room towards the kitchen had no ventilation, we were choking already at 09:30am.

Good, shame about the noise.

A quick getaway in Paris as amazingly it was cheaper than staying in the UK! I chose it as it was very close to Gare Du Nord. Nowhere in Paris is perfect as it somewhat depends on what someone is there to see. The two closest sites are Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur within half hour walk. The price is good when booked in advance. If the breakfast is included accept it but do not pay extra for it as there are many places to eat nearby which will work out cheaper. They offer bag storage. Staff are mainly very friendly with the only downside being 'some' breakfast staff who didn't seem very happy in their roles. We stayed in room 100. My advice to the hotel is to let other guests know the room is there. The noise we had to tolerate was unacceptable but my feeling is because guests had no idea there was a room on the ground floor and it is the only one. We were disturbed up to at least midnight. We had to ask for them to open a mobility friendly door to allow a mobility scooter in the building which they were happy to do but, not much use when trying to get in! Room was comfortable though despite the noise. It was also services after each night. Just one pillow each which we found was enough but I guess someone would need to ask if they wanted two. The picture of a waiting area with a sink is effectively right next to room 100 but the door cannot be seen hence why so much noise.
