The hotel doesn't have wifi on most rooms, it's 2026 wifi nowdays is part of everyone's life. The pools were most of the time really hot to the point it was not refreshing also these were heavily chlorinated to the point i had an alergic reaction. The food most of the time was really good soft drinks are not good most of the time it tasted like water with sugar instead of tamarindo or jamaica. The dinner restaurants schedule was not available, it was a surprise every morning when doing the reservation, i would suggest a weekly schedule for the guests to know which restaurant to chose when. The staff was really good and helpful. There seems that they have issues with the amount of towels for the rooms since they had issues providing these every day. There is something really annoying which is the vacation package sellers being outside of the breakfast restaurant.

El servicio en general para un hotel que dice tener una categoría X. Tienes que esperar para hacer el ingreso en una fila de automóviles durante una hora, luego hay que entrar a una sala colectiva para que te registren. Si necesitas salir del hotel, requieres un pase, no en tu salida final. La bebida no es de calidad, la de calidad mediana no la ofrecen y luego no tienen. Ofrecen seis restaurantes para cenar, pero solo hay dos en funcionamiento y uno esta saturado. La alberca tenia una nata de suciedad. La playa llena de piedra. En fin un mal hotel en el concepto general de costo/beneficio. Para no regresar nunca.

Outdated room, horrible food, loud music, unfriendly staff. We left after one day and forfeited $250 just to leave a bad experience behind. It is the only place in El Salvador I will never go again. It is too bad they ruined a beautiful setting with this monstrosity.

Our stay at Decameron Salinitas in El Salvador was extremely disappointing. The entire property feels very run-down and poorly maintained. The rooms are old, dirty, and in serious need of renovation. To make matters worse, we didn’t even receive linens for our beds until 11:00 PM on the day of check-in, which is completely unacceptable after a long day of travel. The check-in process was painfully slow and inefficient, with long waits. Making reservations for the restaurants was another frustrating experience—confusing, time-consuming, and poorly managed. Unfortunately, the food did not make up for any of these issues. The quality was low, with limited variety and meals that were poorly prepared and unappetizing. Overall, this hotel did not meet even basic expectations. We do not recommend Decameron Salinitas to anyone. Save your money and look elsewhere—you’ll be glad you did.

The room were neglected, food was not the best, the worst part of the hotel was the check in, no organization and no lack of customers service, no manager in site to file a complaint of misconduct. The servers and outside staff were completely welcoming other that it was not a good experience

Rooms are very outdated. Customer service is very poor. Reservations for à la carte dining are ridiculous. They need a better system in place, with more organization and communication. No shuttles or golf carts are available for people with limited mobility. The food was not the best, with no variety—the same buffet menu every day. We stayed 5 days, and by day 4, I was fed up with the food, so we went out to eat. The place really needs an upgrade in everything. I don't think I would return.

As always, the country itself was absolutely beautiful, and the people—both on and off the property—were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The staff at the resort clearly work very hard. Our room was large, comfortable, and kept impeccably clean throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. However, a number of issues kept this experience from being what we hoped for. **Dining & Drinks:** Even at the buffet, guests cannot get their own beverages. There were several times we finished an entire meal before a server brought us water or anything else to drink. Additionally, when we were at the beach or pool, we had to walk quite a distance to reach a bar for even a simple non-alcoholic drink, which doesn’t feel very “all-inclusive.” **Logistics:** We were only given one room key, which was surprisingly frustrating. Since my husband and I often come and go at different times, it made coordinating our day much more difficult than it needed to be. **Entertainment:** The resort advertised entertainment as part of its all-inclusive package, but the only offering was a small “dance club” with a basic karaoke setup. It felt more like an afterthought

Staff was great — very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. However, some of the amenities need better maintenance. Certain areas looked worn out and could use attention to improve the guest experience. Another major concern was the behavior of some visitors. Many were extremely loud, shouting, fighting, over-drinking, and using foul language. I even witnessed people urinating in the garden areas, which was very unpleasant and unacceptable for a hotel environment. The hotel should enforce stricter rules to ensure a more respectful and family-friendly atmosphere.
