Centrally located well upkept hostel in the CBD of Melbourne. Staff is welcoming, rooms are spacious are very “homey”. A limited breakfast is provided, yet it is served by a very welcoming and friendly staff member providing an additional level of hospitality.

Was upgraded to the deluxe private room after having issues with changing my booking dates. Staff at Selina were very helpful and friendly. The room was huge and very comfortable (although two single beds put together rather than an actual double), with a tiny ensuite and shower that leaked through the door. Lights in the room were very dim and you could hear a lot of the noise from the street below. I don’t think the price is very good value when you can get a luxury hotel for pretty much the same price elsewhere in the city.

The building is very tired and the bed was worn out. The staff however were absolutely wonderful and very friendly. This is a budget hotel and while they are trying hard it could do with a freshen up, I've stayed at better for a similar price.

I stayed in one of the single rooms. It was so beautiful and inviting, even with it being minimalistic. The little speakeasy-esque bar downstairs is really inviting. All of the staff were super friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
