Wonderful service, food and location

Kevin and Lesley were great hosts and the property is stunning. The breakfast was delicious and the bed extremely comfortable. The experience is very intimate since there are only six guests at a time. As a result Kevin gave us plenty of attention and also some great dining and sight seeing suggestions. The location is excellent with the small but cute town of Annapolis Royal just a 15 minute walk from the property. The town has numerous art galleries plus a wine bar, brewery, and some excellent restaurants. Pro tip: make your lodging reservation here well in advance since they book up months ahead of time. This is truly a 10 out of 10 experience!

Exceeded expectations!

We only stayed a single night, but the host was so friendly, welcoming, & enthusiastically informative, from dining recommendations to historical local trivia. The inn has immaculate decor & the whole town has such fascinating rich history. The breakfast frittatas were spectacularly flavourful & filling. We simply can't wait to return for much longer!

A M A Z I N G! Thank you for an amazing stay at your beautiful Inn. We were welcomed by gracious hosts and shown the stunning manor. They gave us some dinner suggestions and we had the most amazing seafood! Our bed was comfortable, and the whole place was nice and quiet for a sound sleep. The hosts were kind enough to have an amazing breakfast to go for us as we had a flight to catch. Great coffee too! We will definitely return!

I highly recommend "The Lark and Loon" , it is definetely a 5 Star B&B! The rooms are tastefully decorated with a very warm and welcoming "feel". The bed and linens are luxurious. The owners, Lesley and Kevin, are lovely and were very quick to accommodate my dietary restrictions. My breakfast was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

This could be the best B&B that you could stay at. The historic home has lots of character and charm. All rooms are very clean and common areas are welcoming. The owners are very nice and really do care about your stay. If you want to stay in Annapolis Royal make this your first choice for accommodation. Highly recommend and will stay again.

A Not-to-Miss Stay in Annapolis Royal

The Lark and Loon is in an impressive historic house where Lesley and Kevin, the warm and personable owners, have assembled an amazingly curated collection of furnishings and historic items. Their communication was prompt and thorough including providing very interesting and helpful information about their part of Nova Scotia. Our room, the lovely sitting rooms and the dining room were elegantly furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great including adapting it to my troublesome allergies. Following our stay we are grateful to have visited some highlights recommended by Kevin that we would never have found on our own. We unreservedly recommend staying at The Lark and Loon.

Very, very clean. Beautifully furnished with an outstanding breakfast. However, the bed was much too high and even with the ladder that was provided, still very uncomfortable. Possibly other beds in the inn are not so high. Likely not a problem for people who are tall.

The Lark and Loon is an extraordinary place. You feel transported as soon as you reach the door. Our hosts created an exquisite inn, filled with antiques and books of the era. There is even a historical fun fact scavenger hunt through out the house. Our room was beautiful was lovely. They thought of everything from gourmet coffee and tea in the bedroom to bathrobes. Kevin, aformer chef, made an amazing frittata for breakfast, with warm home made biscuits. He is also an expert on the history of the area. Our one regret was that we could not stay longer.
