Rolled through after 12a. Was greeted by well put together desk agent that was friendly and accommodating and making the checking painless. The room was pretty freaking awesome. You can tell someone put time into the decor. The egg chair and Jim Morrison wall mural were the stand out items, along with the cool nightstand lights. The bed was about a 3.5 in comfort..but when you’re tired it hits. Got pretty good sleep. Pillows are a 4.5. Shower area was cool but has a glass wall for a curtain. Water goes everywhere. Just FYI. Shower gels holder had fallen on the ground. But water was hot and it was clean. The grounds were immaculate and looks like a really cool place to chill. I hope to come to an event here next time I’m through. Pool and airstream area was tucked away in the corner and looked super calming. Didn’t have time to swim but definitely looking forward to trying it at a later date. Check out is promptly at 11a. So prompt they knocked once and then opened the door and said “it’s 11am!”. Luckily I was getting ready to leave and not naked or anything. Lol. Front desk area didn’t not serve breakfast or anything but had decent coffee. One thing: parking is an additional 15$. I didn’t see that when booking was a bit surprised. But I’m not gonna park on the street so paid it. Area seems ok. All in all good stay! Cons were minor.

Parking was easy. Side Hustle was going on. It was cool to see people having a good time and the DJ was spinning hip hop so that was a positive. Definitely not the kind of place you want to stay if you’re looking for anything even close to quiet. It is LOUD but it shut down at 9pm for our Sunday night stay so it was fine for us. Not a lot around the property but a quick drive down to Roosevelt Row area with good breweries and food. Room was cool with twin bunks. Positives: sitting area, guitar, big refrigerator, clean, big tv, microwave, small igloo cooler. Negatives: couch was saggy in the middle, big refrigerator and small cooler but you can't bring in outside alcohol (then...what's the use?), some broken fixtures, shower head somewhat clogged, missing hygiene products, outlets inconveniently located. Staff was fine. Not the friendliest but they got the job done. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it. Didn't go to the restaurant either but got a few beers from the bar. Overall, I would stay there again if it were the wife and I or me and my buddies but wouldn't if I had the kids.

There was an initial mix up where they gave us a room someone else was already in, but the desk staff fixed it quickly and got us into our room. It was clean and air conditioned and the decor was unique and fun. Loved having a Brita pitcher because we drink a lot of water.

The staff was the highlight of our stay. I love the hotel concept and it was not too noisy. The exception was the lid on the garbage can banging all evening long. Easy fix with a cloth. The room however, was the issue. There wasn't a top sheet on the bed, just a light comforter, which I'm guessing does not get washed in between guests. There is no carpeting and the floor was filthy. I spilled some water and wiped it up and the cloth was black from the floor.

Found Bed bug first night there. Got accused of bringing them to hotel and a free room when we're leaving hotel by housekeeping staff. Couldn't get ahold of general manger to arrange refund at time of incident. Have spoken with Arely since incident was working on refund after two days, no offer to help pay for difference or inconvenience to leave hotel after incident. Or cleaning of my clothing due to incident. This also was in reports that they had them May of last year hotel is saying unfounded.
