Mixed Experience Despite VIP Status
As VIP guests, we anticipated a memorable stay at TRYP by Wyndham Isla Verde. While there were some positive aspects, several disappointments overshadowed our experience.
Positive Aspects:
• VIP Benefits: We appreciated the complimentary drinks and the discounts offered at the on-site restaurants, which added value to our stay.
Negative Aspects:
• Check-In Process: Despite being offered early check-in, upon arrival, we were informed that no rooms were available. We, along with several other guests, had to wait in the lobby for an extended period. When we finally checked in, the front desk staff provided minimal information about the hotel’s amenities and services.
• Staff Attitude: Throughout our stay, the staff appeared disinterested and inattentive, often ignoring guests and failing to offer assistance. This lack of hospitality was disappointing and did not meet our expectations.
• Room Condition: Upon entering our room, we discovered plumbing issues with the toilet. Despite contacting the front desk three times, no assistance was provided. Fortunately, my partner managed to address the problem temporarily. Additionally, the balcony did not match the images advertised online, leading to further disappointment.
Overall Experience:
While the VIP perks were a nice touch, the overall experience was marred by unfulfilled promises, lackluster service, and misleading representations. Improvements in staff training and accurate marketing
