Nice old 4 star hotel with quite central location. Practically on the beach - and with spa. As for most of the hotels in central Alassio, parking might be a challenge in the high season. ÷ on comfort since airco is date driven - not temperature. Good breakfast.

Katia at the front desk was great! My minimal use of Italian was fine because she spoke excellent English to explain check-in and the hotel's services. The room was well appointed and balcony overlooking the beach perfect! Hotel seemed to cater to older folks and repeat guests which was fine because we wanted a quiet spot and this was the place. Great location and walking distance to everything in Alassio. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, lunch at the beach restaurant quick, relaxing and delicious, and all the hotel and restaurant staff were very nice and accommodating. Noticed other guest reviews complaining about having to pay for beach chairs & umbrellas - knowing that is how it works in Italy that didn't bother us. Its an optional service. We had only intended on staying one night but luckily Katia found us accommodations for the second night, despite hotel being sold out on line. I highly recommend this property for a great stay in Alassio!

The hotel itself isn't that bad, but the bedding could be better. AC wasn't working properly and looks like you have to be "in the room" to refresh the room. It looks like the electricity was shutting down when no movement are detected to avoid cost which is not fair. Imagine coming back after a long and hot day and having a hot room not refreshed ... Not the best ! The staff are generally friendly, but one of the receptionists provides inaccurate information and is not particularly cooperative. The pool is small, but it's adequate. The water temperature is OK. However, there are not enough umbrellas and sunbeds for all guests. Breakfast is below average, with limited choice and the quality is nothing special. It's adequate if you're not particularly demanding. On the other hand, the staff, and especially the gentleman who manages the breakfast room (I don't remember his name) is outstanding. The bar service, which also handles snacks during the day, is completely overwhelmed and very slow, with rather poor-quality food and service. In the evening, when more staff are on duty, the service returns to a normal standard, but the quality of the food still leaves much to be desired. In conclusion, I am a frequent traveler who regularly travels around the world, and I find this hotel to be average at best. It's not a bad hotel, but it offers nothing particularly special and does not represent great value for the price charged.

Right opposite the private beach, but you still have to pay to use sunloungers and no concession for staying at the hotel. I paid between €25 for half day fourth row to €60 for first and second row. The hotel is dated but comfortable. A/C worked great till the cleaner opened the window and I couldn’t work out why it had stopped. Bed was very comfy. Staff - some were very helpful, others couldn’t have cared less. Overall a ok stay simply because I could walk over to b

Does not live up to potential

Pool was closed when asked about it upon arrival. Probably due to lower season but no info regarding it. After some discussion they agreed we could use the jacuzzi in the spa for one hour. Sofa bed was a disaster, too small for two ppl and crooked/broken. Would need a general renovation or touch up. Used valet service, no problems. Have to highlight the fantastic breakfast and amazing view from the room balcony.
