This place looked quaint and cute in the photos, but was quite different in person. First of all, there are no windows in the front of the house - only shutters. So bugs, security, lack of AC were a concern. There was a fan but it was not working and no attempt was made to fix it when the host was notified. There was a smoke detector on the wall, which was open and lacking a battery. When I told the host about this, they said 'no one told me about this'. No accountability and no attempts to fix anything. The 'rainfall' shower head was rusty and a barely affixed addition. We had only enough hot water for 1 3 minute shower. The water pressure was extremely weak. The bed was very firm. The full size fridge was nice and coffee was provided, but it was awkward to use the garbage bin because of the lack of windows thing. There were bugs crawling in the kitchen so we didn't use it much. Beach chairs and towels were provided, along with a very dirty cooler bag. We could hear every word of our neighbours. It has a lot of potential, but so many things were not disclosed/ were inaccurate.

The apartment is very cute and very clean. It is in the middle of a bunch of other apartments, so there isn’t much privacy. We really liked the place except for two problems The kitchen is nice, the bathroom is nice, the bed is well done and comfortable. Overall, we really liked it. But there were two significant problems. Number one: this place is very difficult to find. Even with Google maps. The owner should give better instructions, including what it looks like and that there is a coded gate to get into the parking lot. Number two: this is not the owner‘s fault, but the water was out in this entire region of the town for the entire time we were there. What is the owner‘s fault is that he should’ve told us that this was a problem before we got there and given us the opportunity to cancel without penalty if we wanted to.He did give us a fair partial refund, but not being able to shower or flush the toilet more than once was a huge disappointment. We were given no warning, and it turns out the water had already been out for two days when we got there.So this was not a surprise. After we called,They came and turned on a pump to give us water pressure for about 30 minutes. That really was not sufficient. Under normal conditions, the only problem with the place would’ve been finding directions to get there which can be easily remedied. We did get a fair, partial refund, but with warning in the morning, we probably would’ve stayed somewhere else and been able to shower.

The property was very close to the beach and other activities. We had a parking spot for our rental car. The little kitchenette had everything we needed. Although only the bedroom was air-conditioned, the air conditioner work well. Bathroom was spacious. I would definitely stay here again. Also have the host give you the gps pin/coordinates as Google maps didn't like the address given.

Close to Seven Seas Beach and a 5 min. drive to Las Croabas. Several good restaurants on the water there. Also loved La Estacion, around the corner. It was also good for El Yunque. It was in a quiet area which was great. A very nice place for the price.
