I expected better

It’s OK for being an over hotel. The bathroom has flaws like shower curtain isn’t long enough so all the water goes underneath it and collects in the middle of the bathroom, showerhead and shower liver you could see where the old one was and they moved a foot to the right. The beds were super springy/spongy & the breakfast made me feel like we’re still living in Covid era and there really wasn’t much to go on. The pictures on the website look better than when you see with the naked eye

Not the greatest…

Was just alright. Probably wouldn’t stay again. Made several complaints while I was there, including strong odors of smoking in the halls, and once I had to leave my room because the neighbors were smoking and it was so strong it triggered my asthma. Management DID take care of the situation, however, and aired out my room. On my last day there, I killed a couple roaches, so that was enough to say I won’t go back.

Really like this place. Right on the beach. Have stayed here before. This time the room could have used a better cleaning including under bed and around the dresser. Still enjoyed it and would stay again

Pleasantly Surprised

We were a little leary booking after reading some reviews on other sites, but our room looked to have been recently remodeled. The hot tub did heater did not work day 1, but maintenance got it fixed and it was great after that. The hotel isnt massive so there was not long waits for elevators and the beach wasnt very crowded behind the hotel. We got a ocean view and it was phenomenal! Breakfast is not amazing, but we arent early morning people so some yogurt and pastries worked great for us as well.

Literally 3 steps from the sand.

This property was nice for families with kids. We enjoyed the property being directly in front of the ocean. The pool and hot tub were okay, would suggest some upkeep, but not terrible for the price. The room was okay. The beds weren’t comfortable but they had decent pillows. Overall it was a great experience that my family enjoyed so out of all the places we have stayed I would rate it a 7.5/10. The staff was exceptionally nice and courteous and very helpful. The breakfast was two small refrigerators with some milk, juice, and yogurt. They did have 24/7 coffee brewed which was helpful.

Enjoyed our stay.

The place was newly redone and it looked nice. The view of the ocean was nice. The only negatives I have are that the bed was not the most comfortable and we pulled out the tv stand to get to the outlet to plug in our fire stick and there was a lot of garbage and dirt including a part of a marijuana joint.

In need of some upgrades

Wasn’t sure what to expect. Property is older and in need of some upgrades (especially the hotel sign when you pull up at night that doesn’t give the best impression of the hotel). If it’s just somewhere to sleep that’s clean, it’s okay. Don’t expect anything else. Great access to the beach and walking distance to other hotels that have better amenities.i would not say the price I paid was good value for money in terms of the property and amenities, i guess it was more so for location as it is conveniently located. I would not opt to stay there again.

Beach Family Vaca Review!

Front desk service was great! Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was average on cleanliness. We had sand on the floor and in our beds. I understand we are at the beach, but the sand between the sheets was not likable. Staff was great about changing sheets for us. Some rust on furniture in the room and in bathroom. We could hear people in the rooms next to us, so not the best on quietness. Building is dated, so could use some fixing up and new entryway mats. Breakfast, was a cold breakfast! Coffee was not good, so nothing special. Overall our stay was good!

Just ok

We had no hot water to shower. Paid for a balcony but couldn’t use it due to the air conditioner leaking. There was a puddle of water that would have tracked all over the floor.

Uncomfortable bed.

The bed was very hard and not comfortable. The pillows were not very good. The comforter was old and all the fill had crumbled and moved to the corners. However, it was still clean and warm enough. Overall the room was fairly clean and spacious and the staff was very good. Don't let them put you on the 9th floor until they replace the beds. Don't get the room between the elevators- noisy.

Awful!!

This hotel was awful. The floors were so dirty that the bottoms of our feet were black, there was no hot water in the shower or water pressure when turning the handle to hot, when we spoke to maintainance, he said he would fix it tomorrow after we left, so we were unable to shower, no phone cord attached to the phone. We had to walk up to the front desk to ask for help.. no coffee pot. The dishes were put away dirty.. they never offered to move us or help in any way other than to get us a coffee pot, which was dirty..had not been cleaned in a long while.. This was the worst stay I've had in all of my years of coming to Daytona Beach..
