Beautiful stay at Shawnee

This was a really nice place. In the trees and a lot of room for a decent price. The only downside was that I was not aware of it being a timeshare property. They tried to get me to go to a course after I checked out in exchange for meal money. I needed to get back home and I declined.

Stay was great, internet was horrible!

Pros: Nice and clean villa with fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice sitting area, great views Cons: patchy at times but mostly no internet service, upstairs bathroom could use a vanity, Tvs need an upgrade, saw a sign at checkin for discounted water park tickets and upon inquiring about them, there was unnecessary push for timeshare presentation, rude staff at Wyndham preview centre.

Sales Suck

Place is over all pretty great, what is super uncomfortable is the fact that before you get to go to your accommodation after a long exhausting trip they try to sell you up the wazoo and make you attend a timeshare meeting in exchange for free stuff. It’s tiring , it’s annoying and I know it’s part of their job and I feel so bad for them. If you’re bad at dealing with sales pressure send your better half in to check in lol Place was relatively clean but we had an ant problem in day two

Underwhelming

I stood here a couple years ago and it was well maintained then but this past visit was very underwhelming. There was barely any hot water, window blinds were damaged, stains on the couch and the WiFi connection was terrible. That need to do a whole new make over on that unit

A step back into time.

I love this area in PA. The units are quiet when inside especially if it’s backed against the woods. The interior needs some updating i.e the furniture is old and uncomfortable, beds, couches, chairs and carpets included. I used to come here in the 90’s as a child and the units are pretty much frozen in time since then except more wear and tear. The check-in process is extremely intense as you’re passed through check-in to the”amenities” desk area where they press you to tour with your ENTIRE group for free trips, time sharing etc. They will also call you repeatedly for months to do tours and offer you trips even though you tell them you’re not interested, they still call and call.

What an amazing time me and my family had. We loved the villa and even was able to get units right next to our friends that stayed at the resort as well. Would highly recommend a family to stay here. Kitchen bathrooms and bedrooms were all immaculate and well kept. The beds were comfortable and the view from our villa was so beautiful!
