Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal nur 10 Min weg von der „Hauptgasse“ von Taormina. Inkl. Parkplatz für 15€ pro Nacht und super Aussicht.

In need of an upgrade

Great views, comfortable bed, bathroom and shower in desperate need of renovation, smell from the sink drain, breakfast very limit, although good coffee. Pool was nice but a little on the cold side! Lift to the rooms a little sketchy and small! Overall, 4* hotel with a 2* bathroom and breakfast.

La dolce Taormina !!

Hôtel très agréable ,calme avec un charme des années 60 bien préservé. Superbe vue panoramique depuis les hauteurs de Taormina. La piscine est également belle . Possibilité d’aller à la plage avec transfert organisé jusqu’à l’hôtel jumelé. Le centre ville est à quelques mètres à pieds (escaliers et cotes à prendre en considération) Les personnels sont serviables et très sympathiques . Faut pas hésiter à aller discuter avec eux et demander conseils pour dénicher les meilleurs plans en Sicile !! Je reviendrai volontiers.

The balcony had an amazing view of Mt. Etna and the city. We enjoyed the view a lot, but there were downsides. The beds were super uncomfortable compared to other locations we have been staying. The shower is also very tiny and hard to move around in. The staff was very helpful and friendly the entire time we just prefer not to leave our key everytime we were going out of the hotel. Our air conditioning was leaking in the entrance and the housekeeping ladies made sure to get it fixed for us.

Incredible pool area - it’s a big reason why we booked. The view is unmatched. Overall the hotel is well-maintained with what appeared to be mostly original furniture annd fixtures including the original turquoise tile bathroom from the 60s/70s (I would guess). The location is perfect: a short walk to the main street with most of the historical sites, restaurants and shopping, and yet perfectly quiet. The view at breakfast is also incredible. Breakfast itself was adequate and included scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, fruit juice, etc. Overall it was charming and unique.

Beliggenhed er i top / perfekt udsigt og man skal vælge et værelse med Terrasse og udsigt til etna. Mega gammelt hotel og i original stil så det skal man være til. Morgenmad var absolut Ik god og sengen meget hård (men er jo en smags sag) og beliggenheden er ikke for gangbesværede og i dårlig form. Der er mange trapper. Poolen super god og der var rigeligt med liggestole. Der var ikke mange gæster på hotellet.

The rooms are a little dated but they have everything you need; are very clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is minutes from the centre - down a steep hill but it is very short and there are steps. The pool is lovely and the view is stunning.

We had a wonderful stay, but the room was EXTREMELY outdated. Very old style furniture and a shower that felt centuries old and that basically dripped water instead of having a good flow. The swimming pool is wonderfully peaceful but again, could do with some ambient music or more frequent service poolside. Hotel staff were great, always helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic although there's no toaster for bread. We had a balcony with sea view with our room and it was wonderful - but it isn't very private as it connects to all other balconies on the same side with out a few plants dividing. Luckily it was always quiet and we were pretty much always the only ones out there. The room had air con which is great and a fully stocked fridge. Car parking was easy but definitely quite pricey considering its kept on site.

Views, pool, location +++

As others have said, the views are sensational, probably the best in Taormina, pool area is beautiful too. Location is great and the stairs are good for keeping fit but not a great location if you have mobility problems. We are used to older dated traditional Italian hotels and prefer them to more modern properties but this one is definitely going to need some updating asap..namely bathrooms and plumbing! Often unpleasant odours from the drains and water problems were noticed. It’s a place ripe for some renovations but there is definitely charm as is. Most of the staff are friendly but others need to smile more. Breakfast is great and the location of the breakfast tables are again probably the best in Taormina.

Sehr sympathisches Hotel, in dem der Eigentümer selber noch jeden Tag mitarbeitet. Sehr freundlich und sauber. Super Lage, einmaliger Ausblick auf Taormina und das Meer. Wunderschöner Pool und phantastischer Privatstrand, an dem man mit einem Shuttle gefahren wird. All das wiegt das Alter des Hotels und das einfache Zimmer auf. Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein, wie anno dazumal und ohne jeglichen Luxus. Mobiliar aber neu, gutes Bett, neuer TV und gute Minibar. Kein Abendessen möglich. Am Mittag nur ein kleiner Teller Salat oder Melone mit Rohschinken erhältlich. Würde es wieder buchen.
