We were excited when we checked in… Peggy was a delight, first night was alright, hotel beds suck so that isn’t something I rate on. Next day, we get to the pool early to get a spot to watch boat racing, 8:30 am we arrive. We hang out at the pool all day, it is peaceful and everyone is having fun… then an employee brings a car load of kids and some friends to start causing issues… the “general manager” is the mother of at least a few of these kids that were throwing balls around the pool hitting multiple patrons, myself included, not to mention polluting the pool with trash and lord knows what else. Once it was pointed out to me by another guest that it was an employees kids, I spoke up, and spoke to that employee… who told me I was lying, weird since you were inside and not watching your idiot kids but hey, whatever… then proceeds to get in my face… ok, cool… a terrible parent and a really terrible employee. We won’t be back, and I will spread the word everywhere I can to ensure that none of the roughly 80 people staying here for the same event, never come back to this hotel. Disgraceful that an employee would be allowed to ruin the pleasure of guests, absolutely disgraceful, management, more-so ownership, should be disgusted to employee such an individual to represent their company.
