Worst experience ever.

Had worst experience in this hotel. For check-in, I had to go to Baymont hotel which is located in same compound. Baymont staff was rude. Roms were not clean and had very bad smell. There was no one available in Super8 reception area. They shows photo of beautiful swiming pool but the swiming pool does not have any water. Also, I had breakfast included in my reservation but no breakfast was provided. Other than that, garbage was being thrown out of windows by cleaning staff. Never expected such a bad experience from Super8 which is managed by wyndhum. Also, why hotels.com is keeping such hotels in their list. It should be removed immediately from their listing. Why should any visitor/customer suffers as they trust Super8 by wyndhum and hotels.com. I give 0 ratings to this hotel. @hotels.com, pleaese take required actions and remove it from listing asap

Bad experience staying at this place

It was really worst stay, the room was not clean, no trash bin available, no towels, even after complaining to front desk, they did not take any action. There was no breakfast available as well.

Fire the housekeeper

There were no towels, toiletries, or pillowcases on the pillows. No remote for the TV. No way to operate the TV. WiFi password didn't work. Nobody would answer the phone when you called the number given when reservation was made.

This is a SCAM!!

When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted to a locked front door with a sign posted on it that the Fire Marshal closed the building down over a year ago. When we wrote to complain, we were informed that our room was being cancelled and there will be no refund. I cannot believe that this is possible at Super 8 or through Hotels.com. Unfortunately, it was a costly lesson that neither this website or that hotel chain can be trusted.

I booked a reservation for a room at the Super 8 in advance because I know rooms are scarce during the state fair. When I arrived no one was at the front desk. Eventually another guest walked by and told me to check in at the next door Baymont Inn. I hiked across the field to the Baymont front desk and waited in a long line for a very slow check-in. When I received a key I went back to the Super 8 and went into my room. At first I thought someone was still in the room and then I realized that someone had checked out and the room had never been made up. The bed had been slept in, all the towels were went and on the floor, there was no soap, nothing had been cleaned after a sloppy guest. I went to the front desk and explained. The only response I got was "do you want a refund?" I asked if another room was available and was told no. I asked if someone could make up the room and was told that the maids were gone for the day. Motels were no doubt all sold out by that time. So I enjoyed a lovely night's sleep in a bed with used sheets with the air-conditioner set at 60 degrees but keeping the room around 90 and humid.

Disgusting

Non- Smoking room However the room smelled of pot smoking, beds were not clean. One bed had a hole in the sheet and a pebble in it. The other bed had black flakes on the bed when we moved the pillow. There was a bug in the bathtub. The door would not lock you just could open it by turning the door knob. I did not stay there for more than 5 minutes. Would not recommend it to anybody.

This it a Homeless shelter, not a hotel

There’s nothing good about this hotel. I am not even exaggerating. Dirty walls, dirty floors, hair all over the bedsheets, no house keeping. You cannot call this a hotel. This is a homeless shelter

went to check in no front desk had to go to another hotel to check in at super 8 it took half hour for them to find one of 2 rooms i booked never found 2nd room. this place looked like a homeless shelter with drug dealing and usage at entry doors. we had to find another hotel at over twice the price. eill never use super 8 or hotels.com again. not happy

My room was cancelled at last minute by general manager. Place was a run down hotel, manager told me that just looking at me and my kids, we wouldnt want to stay there. I appreciate that but never got refund for a room i never cancelled

Worst hotel I have ever experienced.

Absolutely awful. Arrived to check in and there was no front desk. Was then told by a resident that the next door hotel “sometimes” checks in guests for Super 8 too. Then went to that front desk only to be told they had “no reservation” for me and to “leave now.” Receptionist Tina was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Was told by another guest that his bed didn’t even have sheets/blankets, and that his key card stopped working so he couldn’t even gather his belongings. This facility is in complete disrepair and should not be open to the public. Atrocious “service” and facility.

I didn't stay at all,no tv in the room when I went into the room,.It had a terrible odor.I stood at the counter area waiting about 30 minutes before I was able to confirm my reservation. Because there were other unhappy guest trying to get checked in, and there were no clean rooms.So,that was my first red flag.After letting them know there was no tv in the room,they offered to give me the one they had in there room.I accepted, but after going back to the room I couldn't stand the horrible smell, and there was no towels, or tissue in the bathroom. So,I decided to leave. And went to the front desk to chekout

Upon arrival I couldn't locate the front desk to check in (there was an area, but no computer or phone present). This is because there is none, you have to check in at the neighboring hotel--there was no sign informing guests of this, I just went there by chance. I waited while they dealt with another guest that had been assigned to a room that was already occupied, and then that occupant coming down to complain how they got walked in on. Room was cool enough, but stayed very humid, which you could tell was the norm by the rust present on the lamps. Toilet dirty, sink and bathtub had hair, bathmat had a hole and was wet. No soap (did have moisturizer and shampoo). In places that walls had been patched but not repainted. TV turned on, but was not correct remote so couldn't change channels or get the program on the whole screen. My room and the whole entire place felt grimy. Front door and all room doors beat up. Hallway needed sweeping. Tops of washer and dryer dirty. I felt unsafe seeing the condition of the property and knowing that no staff was present in the building at all. Pool had a permanent looking "Pool Closed" sign and was half full of dirty water and a tarp that had partly fallen in. I got breakfast at the neighboring hotel where I checked in, wasn't that clean or nice over there either. I'll remember now to always look at reviews even when I am in a rush.
