It’s a nice, laid back place.. nothing fancy but very comfortable and clean place to spend few nights. The area is very quiet and pretty!

This was an overnight stay on our way to Vermont. It was satisfactory and options are limited in the area. The floor in the room were falling apart and the bed was very uncomfortable. The parking lot had at least 4” of ice and made it very difficult to get in and out of the car.

Great stay- very clean hotel room near Gore Mt. Would be more comfy with better bedding (we brought our own blankets and were glad to have them) but overall it was an excellent option for quick ski trip.

Chaos

We stayed as a group of seven people. The whole place was basically not functional except the room that we stayed in had been redone with nice beds and pillows, and it was clean. The remainder of the property is really not ready to be stayed in at all the entire lounge and dining area is in shambles because they’re between owners. No one stayed overnight on the property. The state of the property was basically chaotic and not at all ready for any kind of guest. The woman who checked us in, was kind enough to go and pick up our takeout food as we were on motorcycles. There was no coffee, no breakfast and they were still under a water order because they had just flushed their system. Overall, we should’ve canceled And rebooked someplace else. When we called a few days prior, he told us that the dining room was not functional or the bar. And he offered to go get our takeout food. But did not tell us about the water ban. It was not worth even half of what we paid because we certainly didn’t get all the things that were included in the price.

Expedia site said dinning was open on property on Sunday. A main reason we booked it. Only to find out it’s closed. Got snotty attitude when we asked about it. If I could have cancelled my reservation that night I would have. Had to drive 10 miles out of town to find a place to eat. Room is a dump. Beds are aweful. Pipes keep banging all night from heat and water being used. Overall terrible experience.

This lodge was perfect for what we needed. My wife and I were looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend in the Gore Mountain area. The rooms were comfortable and quite clean. They also seemed to be recently updated. The TV had a wide selection of channels. The bar and restaurant were perfect with very reasonable prices. Lastly, I would be remiss if I didn't mention how friendly the staff (and locals) were at this lodge! I would highly recommend.

Rooms big and spacious, but property poorly maintained. Screen falling apart, in window AC with towels used to seal around air conditioner. Dirty with spider webs everywhere with bugs trapped in them. Will not return again.

This is a quaint spot, perfectly located for our motorcycle trip in the Adirondacks. The rooms don't quite meet the expectations that the photos set, but they were clean and comfortable enough. What really made this place stand, however, out was the staff. We were welcomed like we were old friends returning home, and treated so incredibly well. Whatever time of day it was, these folks ensured not only that we had everything we needed, but that we felt like we were one of the family. We were rather sad to leave, and will definitely be back. Special shout-out to Gerry and Ernie, who made this place an extra warm, welcoming, friendly, and super-memorable place. They made my partner's birthday extra special, and we drove away with our hearts filled with warmth and gratitude for this outstanding team. Thank you!!

The room was clean, and they had made an effort to update a very old and run down property, but the effort was minimal. They had also advertised "breakfast included", I even called to confirm and was told it was a continental breakfast. What they put out I wouldn't touch. The items out were obviously old and the area wasn't clean. There was a coffee cup on the table of the dimly lit room, between the nearly empty box of hostess coffee cakes and the jar of peanut butter, with many dirty cigarette butts in it. That spoiled anything that was halfway decent about the place for me. I never saw a staff member during the two nights we were there.
