Fantastisk semester på en kanon resort

Underbar vistelse på en ren och trevlig anläggning med vänlig personal. Ligger fantastiskt på stranden. Utanför resorten inte mycket att se/äta/shoppa tyvärr. Stort utbud av god mat och dryck. Gymmet hade en del trasiga maskiner och spa avdelningen ekade alltid tom förmodligen för de höga priserna på behandlingar. Underhållning på kvällen var lite sisådär men funkade. Åker gärna tillbaka.

I liked the clean beach and sunsets over the water on the pier bar. I liked the pool area for availability of loungers and clean towels. I liked the several areas for sitting/eating/visiting. I also liked the choice of different pool options.

Ottima struttura in un posto incantevole, le camere sono pulite, ordinate e spaziose. I ristoranti sono ben organizzati, cibo e bevande sono ottimi e disponibili a qualsiasi orario. TUTTO Il personale è estremamente gentile e professionale: una nota di merito a Meshack, Jackson, Jesca, Adam, Schora, Edner (purtroppo non ricordo tutti i nomi, ma sono stati tutti bravissimi) che sono stati fantastici per tutto il nostro soggiorno. Super super consigliato!

My partner and I spent 8 nights at Riu Jambo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and overlooked the beach, which made for a beautiful setting. Housekeeping maintained it well, with daily cleaning that kept everything fresh and comfortable. The staff at Riu Jambo were outstanding — always full of energy, warm, and incredibly helpful. I unfortunately had an accident while in Zanzibar (unrelated to the hotel), and the way the staff supported me during my recovery was truly exceptional. They were accommodating, caring, and always ready to assist. A special thank you to William, who we often saw in the buffet dining room. He was a pleasure to speak with and always made sure my partner and I were comfortable and well looked after. The rest of the breakfast and dinner team were equally amazing — attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. While the food could be a little repetitive at times, there was a wide variety and something to suit everyone’s tastes. If I return to Zanzibar, I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to everyone at Riu Jambo for making our experience so positive — a well-deserved 10/10!

Jeg vil gjerne takke dere for et fantastisk opphold! Fra vi kom til vi dro, ble vi møtt med smil, god service og en varm atmosfære. Rommet var rent, komfortabelt og godt utstyrt, og hele hotellet holdt en svært høy standard. Gutter som driver med aktiviteter Hassan og Abdi Frokosten var variert og velsmakende – en perfekt start på dagen! Personalet var alltid hjelpsomme, profesjonelle og gjorde det lille ekstra for at vi skulle trives. Spesielt takk til kokk Uttam og servering folk. Overall nice hotel; however the food was repetitious. You better make it to each meal service on time or else you wont eat. There are no snack stations throughout the day. It would have been nice to be notified of ON-GOING construction. Construction that starts as early as 8am and ends as last as 8pm. They offer late checkouts, but do allow you to get it. As they book rooms back to back to back. Trust me you'll nee the late check considering the lack of sleep you'll get while here. Be advised construction is NO where near finished! It will be noisey snd disruptive well in the end of 2025. Watch out for excursion scammers! They are definitely present. Better to book excursions once you have arrived with the hotel. Thyr make you nook other restaurants thru thr app, which doesn't work once you're on property. And NO one will help you, especially not the staff. They will constantly redirect you back to the app....so good luck with that. I was a solo female traveler. I felt safe, so no worries there.

We really enjoyed this resort. Was very clean and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. They had daily activities, plenty of pools, and bars. The food was just ok and they only allow you to book the restaurants once no matter how many days you are staying. This was very disappointing because we had to keep going to the buffet which didn’t have the best food and served the same thing daily. They had daily shows which were pretty bad and not worth sitting through. Outside of that the rooms had everything we needed and they kept the fridge stocked with water and soda which was helpful. The only other negative is there was no shuttle to the airport and they charged $60 for transportation one way.

Positiv: - der Strand ist der Hammer! Der Sand und das Wasser ein Traum - tolle Sonnenuntergänge Negativ: - die vielen Verkäufer am Strand, nerven und zerstören die schöne Aussicht - Hotel könnte mal komplett saniert werden - Masse statt Klasse, sieht man leider an der Verpflegung - Zimmer gehen so, könnten auch eine Sanierung vertragen. Überall schimmel und schimmelgeruh. Es wird jeden Tag immer irgendwo der Schimmel überstrichen. Man riechts halt… - Zimmerreinigung katastrophe. Hatten am ersten Tag eine tote Kakalake, haben die nicht weg gemacht.. Allgemein zu Zanzibar: Es herrscht ausserhalb des Hotels Armut. Man muss bei der Einreise 44$ pro person eine Versicherung abschließen. Hinzukommen 50$ pro Person Visa dazu und Hotelsteuer von 5$ pro Nacht pro Person. Das muss man sich im klaren sein.
