The management is clearly spending money to try and update this facility. The location is great for historical sites and the parks. I look forward to coming back in the future to see the improvements, but for this summer, you have to tamper your expectations.

Don't recommend

Bad right from the start during check in. Clerk charged me an extra $15 for having children. Didn't get the room i paid for. I was suppose to have the signature suite, paid for it before getting there. Received the standard $70 room. When questioned the clerk, he stated he didn't have rhat room available. Granted, check in , is at 3pm., and I arrived at 4:15. The room had a musty smell, very outdated, but otherwise clean. The light in the bathroom had pieces of paper towels in between the fixture and ceiling. No bed bugs which was probably the plus side besides the ac window unit working fine. The bathroom only had 2 towels, there were 5 of us. Went the next morning to the office for more towels, was give only 2 and was told to being those back to the office once we used them. Pretty sketchy to me. Will not stay again when returning to the area.

Motel style location - close to lots of things .

It is an older property, it was ok . The owner was nice . The pool was comfortable but needed some repairs . The air conditioner was loud but it kept the room cool . Went to Williamsburg and it was a good location for that .

Both beds work great one headboard hits the wall louder than the other. The fan in the bathroom sounds like a turkey getting chased down for thanksgiving but ain’t a big deal. We got the room that looks like my grandmas house and made me feel just like home

Nice place to stay!

Pleasantly suprised!! Nice hotel for the price! Stayed here for the Independence Day celebration at Colonial Williamsburg. Convenient to nice donut shop, gas stations and attractions. We were in back so traffic noice was minimum. Very quite hotel. Nice pool although we did not use it. Ice machine was out of ice. Bed was on the hard side for us. Nice towels to use. Nice people that run the hotel. We would stay here again!

Clean and spacious but outdated

Surprisingly large suite room with 2 levels, 2 bedrooms, (1000 sq ft) and clean rooms. Outdated but comfy furniture. Responsive owner who promised updates soon (and without prompting). Fit our family of 5 easily and with plenty of room. Outdoor-access rooms but private. Despite 30-40 degree weather, heaters worked fine to warm suite up nicely. CLEAN place. Super convenient to Busch Gardens.

There was no way to call the front desk at 11 PM when we went to go to bed and found out that the hide a bed wasn't made and there were no linens in the room. Was told we would have to go to the office in the middle of the night to get them. Unacceptable.
