When booking, it was not revealed that the property was under renovations. Boxes, mattresses, palettes were piled everywhere. Construction noises from morning til night. Construction workers walking freely around property. "newly" renovated rooms had no working lighting by bed/fake lights. No electrical outlets by beds to plug in chargers. No hair dryer provider=d in room. Breakfast was terrible even for continental breakfast. "Security" door was unlatched, even at night. Will not stay at La Quinta again.

The hotel location is fine. The common areas and our room were not well-maintained. Carpets were stained and worn, wallpaper was peeling, seats were torn and uncomfortable to use. Bathroom was clean but the sink was cracked and the fan did not work. Breakfast food is simple but adequate, but the tables and serving area were not clean. It wasn't a good stay. At all.

First walking in we noticed a stack of mattresses about 10 ft High in the parking lot. walking in you couldn't help but notice the rugs were dirty, they had stains everywhere. The room was bare nothing pretty or inviting about it! The TV sucked. The reception was terrible and you could only watch one or two channels. The faucet in the bathtub ran even when you turned on the shower so the shower was weak. The hot and cold handle was backwards! And it took me forever to figure out how to get the water hot. The next morning we went to take advantage of their continental breakfast and there was no protein, just Bagels toast and Dry Cereal and something that barely passed for coffee not to mention being greeted by another stack of mattresses in the dining area !!!. I chose this hotel because it was pet friendly but the first day I left my dog in the room to go out I received a call that he was barking and disturbing the other guests however they were working in the hotel, renovating I imagine, making plenty of their own noise.

Do not recommend staying here ever. Ehen we first arrived there was a hispanic man on his cell phone in the lobby with speaker phone like he was in his living room. This is suppose to be a smoke free hotel and the elevator stunk like nasty cigarrettes and being allergic to this smell made it horrible. Once we got to the room, as soon as we opened the door, the stench of urine hit us in the face. Wallpaper coming off the walls, water damage on all the walls, couch was torn up, outlet hanging off the wall with wires exposed, carpet felt damp, luggage cart had what looked like blood stains on it and again the smell was gag inducing. We were too tired from our drive to get another hotel. Barely slept due to the cheeze-it sized pillows, disgusting smell and questionable clientele. We checked out as early as possible next morning. The only good thing about this place was the front desk staff. Do not stay here. Ever.

The room was a good size and the king size bed was comfortable but there were 4 small pillows on the bed that were old. The parking lot was full of potholes and the property needed work. I was on the 3rd floor and a large tree branch was wedged against my window scratching the glass all night. The staff was pleasant.

Cars parked in handicap spots without a handicap parking permit. Very low water pressure. Looks like renovations will start soon… not soon enough. Police are there every time I stay which is approximately every 3-5 months

I would not recommend this place. Our room had a hole in the shower wall. A metal box in the shower. There was some stuff that was disguising on the frame of the door. Carpet was worn and torn. Near the air the floor was very wet. I went to the front desk, and he said they will be renovating the place. This is the worse place I ever stayed in.

Coming from SC to visit family in New York we chose this hotel because it was affordable and pet friendly. Check in was simple enough. Walked into a carpeted, pet friendly room. The smell of previous pets hit us in the face, there were old urine stains on the rug. The room was in need of some upgrades such as the wallpaper which was yellowing and coming off the walls in some areas. Doors on cabinets were rickety. The beds were comfy, after the long drive we were able to get a good night rest. Hotel was quiet. Walked our dog outside. The lawn was covered in dog poop. Not entirely the hotels fault as owners should be cleaning up after their pets. Breakfast was simple, pastries, fruits, yogurt cereal or toast. One morning instead of pastries it was Belgian waffles, which were very dry. Staff was ok. Had a small issue and when I asked about it was told it happens sometimes and nothing can be done about it. The issue was the tv had Netflix on it and you could watch it using your own account. However, the tv was not connected to the Internet. So we had to settle for watching the channels on the tv. Overall, the stay was ok and based on the fact our dog could stay with us I would stay again.
