Upon checking in my son brought in a floaty. I was immediately told floaties were not allowed in the pool prior to anything else. Checked in, got to the room everything was fine. There was a group of guests in the pool screaming & yelling at their kids the entire time, staff did nothing. That same group was across the hall from me.. loved that they were allowed to have floaties, squirt guns, & be very disruptive all hours of the day/night, but we couldn't for some reason. Idk I've stayed here every year for my sons birthday & this year was just not a good vibe. Kind of a disappointing weekend stay & will look for other options in the future.

Having stayed in a different Comfort Inn & Suites the previous evening, I expected more. My business is important to me - therefore Internet is important. Connection should have been easy but it took me to page after page of ads. I was busy, needed to do work, so instead of wasting time I used my phone as a hotspot to do my work. This night I arrived during a snowstorm. I passed multiple wrecks on the way, was happy to get to my room and didn't want to go out. So I went to the vending machine. Bear Claw, Snickers, and about 20 different types of chips. I bought a bear claw and Snickers, my evening meal while I worked. They advertised I would have 1 wristband allowing me to use their water slide. I am 80 years old and still a businessman - a waterslide is the last thing I am looking for on a snowy night. Disappointed.

The staff and hotel were amazing. You, however messed up my reservation and it was never booked. I even paid the extra $30 to you or your third party host to guarantee it. The room was in good condition. Upon checking in, I found one staff member to be quite unpleasant. It turned out several other people staying in the hotel had the same experience. Also, they do not tell you when reserving, you can only have up to six people go swimming. And you have to purchase two additional wrist bands to get to that number. The water slide is not turned on until the afternoon which would have been nice to know. I would not recommend it if you are having a kids birthday party like I was. The hotel is good for a regular stay for no special occasion.

The rooms were clean and my kids loved the pool area. The jacuzzi was packed with adults and kids so we didn’t get to enjoy that part of our stay. We had a little hiccup when checking into the hotel. The lady told me that I couldn’t use my wife’s CC to book the room even though I booked the room through Hotels.com. She had a lot of attitude about it at first. We got into a small back and forth, she then called the owner (I didn’t know that it was privately owned) and the owner excepted it. Outside of that, we had a good stay. Breakfast was very nice as well. This was my second time at this hotel (I paid for it the exact same way with no issues).

Decent little hotel, that is a little off the beaten path. They have some strange rules with the slide, but when it is up and running its great. We stayed a couple night and maid service never came up to our room which was kind of disappointing.

Would have been 5 stars except I feel like this Expedia listing is misleading. One of the main reasons I booked here was for the Waterslide in the pool area, but after I booked I got an email saying the Waterslide is only open certain hours on weekends. My kids were disappointed! Other than that, the hotel was updated, clean and nicely decorated for the holidays. Our suite was a very nice size and again very clean and welcoming.

The pool is freezing. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. However the bedsheets smelled like cologne so I’m not sure they were changed but I really don’t want to think about that. Breakfast was fine. There was a birthday party in the pool area that had a lot more kids than would have been staying at the hotel so they aren’t very strict about wristbands. They had just dumped chlorine in the pool in the morning right when they opened it. Our nostrils were burning all day from it.

Room was clean and comfortable which is the most important. My lower rating is because of the pool and hot tub. The chlorine smell was so strong I could barely stand it. My grandson with asthma could not quit coughing and our eyes were burning. The hot tub was more like a barely warm tub.
