Location is hard to beat

The hotel is going through a major renovation. We are sure that some things will improve after they finish the project. We stayed in a newly renovated king size room. The new decorations (mostly beautiful wooden tables, closets, doors, walls) look stunning. We loved the new style that reminds Scandinavian light color wood design. The bed, bench, couch, tables are comfortable, nice shower design as well. There is no a chair at the desk to work on computer, but there is a small size table at the couch. there are 2 sliding wooden panels which when open allows the people in the bed area to look to the bathroom area. It is probably unnecessary. The noise from construction work was annoying sometimes. There was only room service for breakfast. We hope that the breakfast will be available in the hotel later because the quality of the breakfast is OK. Could be better, The staff was professional and friendly. And the most important thing is the location that it is hard to beat. It is 20 minutes walk to the Space Needle, museums and theaters there and 15 minutes walk to lake Union museums and recreation area. A great number of nice restaurants and stores.near by including Whole Foods just next door. it is easy to ride public transportation along Westlake as well. We will be back.

Stay in a construction site

Room was great - clean, well organized and comfortable. The rest of the hotel was a construction site - builders everywhere. Entered through a side door and dragged suitcases up one flight to reception. Elevators out of service so using the construction elevator (took forever!) Restaurant was a poor experience. May be ok when they have completed the work but should not be allowing guests at this stage.

Special trip disaster hotel stay.

I picked this for my son who is getting treatment for AML at U of W Medical center.i wanted it to be really nnice & special. It wasn't. When we arrived it was under construction. We weren't told til arrival. They pounded & worked next to our room till late.. 2nd day we had 3 appts, got back to room around 3pm. Tried to nap, even tho the room hadn't been cleaned or even fresh towels had to ask&construction prevented any rest. The room was small and the soaking tub didnt hold water. Overall very disappointed. Will be making several trips to Seattle but will never stay at Denny Park ever again. Won't recommend.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation so you enter through a work zone and we heard hammering and drilling in our room throughout the day. We were also charged an additional and substantial “resort fee” which was surprising since the only amenities were a basic gym. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and nice.

You won’t be disappointed

I’ve stayed here before and it is a nice hotel close to good restaurants,shows, etc. One section I only gave it a rating of four stars because they are under construction. Our room was one of the freshly remodeled, I really like the style of what they have done (Japandi) it is extremely warm and inviting, probably the best bed we have ever slept in and we are very particular about our beds and pillows. They have amenities, Grace and style that I have never had in other hotel rooms. Everything is brand new, not sure what the lobby will look like, but I’m sure it’ll be better than what it was which was good to begin with. The staff was very friendly all the way from the valet to the front desk to room service.

Hotel under renovation, very disappointed

We got to the hotel and they were doing reservations which we were not told about, nor did Hotels.com state in the webpage. We arrived early and we left the bags at the lobby but there wasn't many places to wait inside. There was no bathroom available in that building due to the renovations so we were told to use the gym wich was across the building. Once we were able to check in after 4pm there were still working on the renovations and we could hear it from our room on the 3rd floor and continued past 5pm. We could hear drilling and hammering. If we had known that it was under renovations we would not have stayed there specifically for the cost of the night we had to pay. Very disappointed that we were not aware it was under renovations and it wasntoo late to change reservations.

They are under a major renovation!!

They are under a major renovation and you could hear the construction all day from 8-5pm. When I checked in, none of elevators were working but a kind front staff helped me to navigate back of the kitchen staff area to find the entrance to their temporary lobby. Their staffs are quite good though.. they did give me credits for breakfast.. I would stay again when they are finished with their renovation..
