If ur traveling n just need a grt n unique place to hang out n have a beautiful view of mississippi river ...this would be it. .stayed in the rental rv for overnite stay n enjoyed a fire ...uhm not the mosquitos...but the fire n the quietness was just what we wanted wth our travels ...thank you

Cabins are very close to each other with little privacy. We were also surprised to find bed linens but no towels. Nice to have a screen porch but the view was of the neighbors garbage and discarded appliances. Good dock access to River. Clean and comfortable for the price. Great pizza at the River Ratz bar.

Great experience. Traveling with my husband to visit the area and do hikes. Nice location and cozy cute cabins! Owner is super helpful and kind. Minor hiccup at check-in due to booking through Expedia - Expedia doesn't share any info with the owner of the property and the email for my self check-in wasn't sent. I called the owner and he called right back after a few minutes and was able to give me all the instructions I needed. He even gave me some hiking recommendations. Later, the water wasn't getting hot in our cabin. I texted the owner and he came to check things out right away. He informed us that sadly, the water heater was going to need repairs. He upgraded us to another cabin that was actually bigger and very nice - the one we were in was also so cozy and lovely. Thankfully, our stay was uneventful (in the best way) from there on out! Cabins are very clean, cozy and have everything you need to cook food if you choose! Not far away from nice hikes in Winona or Alma. Oh and it's near the water too with a dock if you're into that. 😁 Owner is extremely kind, accommodating and hospitable. Highly recommend.

I was not aware that the property did not provide towels and wash cloths. (I didn’t read the whole description. Lesson learned). When I called about it they directed me to a stash of towels in another building. He didn’t have to do that! Great customer service!

A small warning

Everything about this place was beautiful. Friendly staff, accommodating, gorgeous cabins and location. Only problem: after being there for a few hours, my partner had found a couple bed bugs in the bed in the main bedroom. Not a big deal since we both lived nearby and just ended up coming home but definitely put a damper on our weekend trip.

We enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very helpful and explained the check in process thoroughly. The cabin was only a short walk away to the Mississippi River where we took in some beautiful sunsets. A short drive down the road took us to Alma WI and a truly breathtaking view at Buena Vista Park. The only drawback for me was the close proximity to the other cabins. I would’ve liked a little more space to call my own.

Uniquely different property. Appears to be a Nice set up for hunters/fishermen. A little deceiving listing as it is not on the water. You can see the River and a short walk across the road to the dock but not on the River. It is in a residential area.
