We checked in, went to the room and there was water all over the floor. The front desk guy came got it up someone had cut the refrigerator off. After that was cleaned we saw the Coffee maker but no coffee went to the front desk and asked for Coffee and was told it would be available at 8 a.m. . Then went to go wash my face and we had no washcloths, once again went to the front desk and they had none for us, we had to use a towel in which we had no hand soap. The TV only got 1 channel, and the wifi signal was so week , I couldn't even watch a movie on my tablet. The room as a whole needed a good cleaning doors walls dirty and nasty. Only good thing I have to say is the staff was absolutely GREAT , Very friendly and helpful as much as they could be.

I went down to lobby to find ice machine . Front desk had to go to next building to get it . I went back to room to get something and when I came back, the gentleman sitting said the front desk went to get my ice. I asked if he worked there and informed me no.

This “hotel” is a run down extended stay with very unsavory looking people milling about. I pulled in the lot and right back out. I didn’t feel safe staying here. The photos look nice but are very misleading.

Astoria West is a very basic property. It is not fancy. But it was clean and everything was in working order. It is one of the lower priced properties in the Danville area. we were only staying one night so it suited our needs.
