The overnight stay was fine, the room and condition of the areas I felt were in need of some refurbishment. The room carpet for instance was showing signs of the netting. The shower however was excellent.

Medelmåttigt hotell. Nära stationen och centrum. Vårat rum hade smala sängar. Tråkigt med menyfrukosst som det var här. Bätttre med buffe. Dåligt utbud sv bröd.

Nice room and bathroom. There appeared to be a lack of staff for the number of people staying. This was very evident at breakfast on the Sunday. The bar closing at 9pm was also very dissapointing

3 nights and very comfortable. Lovely staff everything you need for a comfortable stay is here .a small few issues but nothing mayor shower was cold and ran slowly . Bar to open later. Noisy fan But we could live with that

I was not expecting a lot when I booked but I was pleasantly surprised both by the service I received from the very friendly, helpful staff and how comfortable the bed was although the room was small there was plenty of storage. Everywhere was well maintained and spotlessly clean.

We were in a small double which was ok for what we paid but there was a crack in the sink, shower and floor tiles as well as a trip hazard with the carpet loose upon entry to the room. Room was very cosy when we arrived but heating was off both mornings even though it was very frosty conditions. Breakfast was filling and good selection.

Skøn service, stemningsfuldt og historisk hotel. Da vi skulle blive en uge, flyttede de os på et større værelse uden beregning. Maden er fin til prisen og et utrolig hjælpsomt personale.

Hotellet skulle ha restaurang och pub men dessa var stängda, istället hänvisades man till en pub som låg 100 meter längre bort med samma ägare. Golvet, borden och handtag var kladdiga av öl/läsk, sunkigt ställe med bara lager öl och blended whisky. Fokus på ungdomar och sour drinkar, undvik the Mallard. Staden håller på att tömmas, en tredjedel av alla butikslokaler står tomma. Välj ett annat resmål.

Our room was lovely - massive, spotless clean BUT the temperature of the room was close to that of a Sauna And there was no way to turn the heating down or off. Staff wonderful. Accommodation in every other way great. I had to go and sit outside the place was so hot. I overheard other hotel guests also complaining of the rediculous heat. I did tell reception who said she had to phone the manager. The response was that it couldn’t be switched off as other guests would be cold.

The room was clean but the bed was very hard. We didn't get a good nights sleep. Also the property is in need of some tlc and general freshening up. There was only one server at breakfast with a full coach tour in, it was very unfair for her. She did her best but was clearly under a lot of pressure.
