Dinner in their restaurant was the high point of our stay. The food was well-prepared, presented and served. We loved everything we ordered. On the other hand, the room left a little to be desired. We understand the inn is old, and we expected some unique and interesting furnishings. Instead, our room looked like it had been furnished from a thrift store with mis-matched tables, a simple bed, lamps connected to extension cords and a dorm fridge by the window. A noisy window AC unit helped keep the room cool, but there was also air blowing loudly from a central air system. The shower was tiny with no room to set anything. We were expecting so much more and it was disappointing.
