Close to the park. Quiet at night

This is a good budget option only about 10 minutes from the entrance to Bon Echo Provincial Park. The rooms are comfortable and a decent size. Be aware the hotel restaurant is not open every day, and that the nearest other restaurant is a 15 minute drive; the gas station across the street has some basics but not a ton. I suggest bringing your own breakfast supplies.

Stairs. Too steep for handicap walkers

Must be new owners. Has improved tremendously. Rooms have been redone and very clean. New toilets and sink. Parking at front should be repaved. Back of building is very dark if you need to park there.

It was fine
Wojtek, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The beds were ok, and the shower was clean. I was very disgusted with the dirty spotted floors. I thought maybe the dark spots on the floor were hard to remove tar or stains. I took a cloth with jyst water and was able to remove a spot. Its lack if effort to get down and scrub. Same in the halways.
COLLEEN, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

There is no lake in sight. Not even a nice view. Overpriced, unclean, a pure disappointment.
Matt, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Friendly staff. Old building. Close to Bon Eco park.
Svetlana, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Room was okay. Beds were comfortable. Didn't make beds or provide fresh towels, etc during our 2 night stay.
Janet, 2-night trip

We were visiting family. The Inn was perfect for us. Very clean, and friendly staff. The restaurant was not open but there was a coffee shop in the gas station across the street that served fresh coffee to go, doughnuts, bagels, etc. We would certainly book again…a short drive to some very nice towns like Madoc and Sterling which are worth a visit.
Marcel, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

restaurant and bar was closed
Stephane, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Looks nothing like the photo that is posted. Terrible place, old and musty smell.
Luis, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Location is close to Bon Echo Provincial Park, but it’s quite difficult to find food close by especially when the hotel restaurant is closed due to short of staff. The room is clean enough, hot water & wifi are working well. They need to put bath mat inside the bathtub so it won’t be too slippery.
Ferjanti, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Toilet doesn’t flush water doesn’t work nothing was open around to get food, lamp doesn’t work, beds are uncomfortable. One good thing was the lady who took care of us at the front desk.
Adam, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The staff were so lovely. An absolute pleasure to deal with. The ladies were so helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. One of the TV's in the room was not working and they immediately changed it. For an oversight stay in a camping area, it was a great location. Thank you!
Jagjit, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Lack of restaurants with food other than fast food take out, shot on air conditioning in restaurant, no place for breakfasts without driving 50 kms.

It has a nice bar with live music that could no be heard from the rooms. There was no room service during our three days stay, so we have to make-up our beds. Not big deal to arrange our own beds, however, for the price I paid, I would expect a higher service level.
Omar, 3-night trip

Proprietor actually called us to ensure we got home safely after we had a bad storm pass through and we had left to go home. Power had gone off and didn't look to be on guickly. We are 3 hours from home so we left. Great staff
