The room was nothing like what we expected. While we understand that hotel photos are often enhanced to look better than reality, we felt completely scammed upon arrival. The room was in poor condition and likely hadn't been renovated in over 30 years. The beds and decor were so dated that, even though they were clean, they didn't feel clean.
At night, you could hear every pipe in the building, along with neighbors whispering in their rooms and in the hallways. To make matters worse, our room was directly across from the housekeeping closet. The staff were quite loud while chatting, which woke us up much earlier than planned.
The only real positives of our stay were the functional air conditioning and the convenient location near the main square.
If I visit Samos again, I definitely won't stay here unless major improvements are made. We did notice that the upper floors looked much nicer, so it's possible we just got a bad room, but this was our experience. Moving forward, I’d gladly pay a few extra euros to stay somewhere much fresher.
