I would definitely stay here again for the convenience of being close to the beach and the main attractions. Staff was nice and accommodating. Place was clean and safe. Enjoyed the rooftop pool! Parking is tight so only one car per room. Stay with my family and we enjoyed are time.

Nice Place, Great Location

Three older friends enjoyed this motel. Thought we may have problem with stairs but they were properly spaced and had a comfortable railing for assistance. We got a little exercise and that was good. Would recommend this to anyone. Owner was accommodating and very, very nice.

Clean and great for the price. Major downside was the pool not being open. We booked through expedia and there was nothing stated about it being closed. We were pretty disappointed upon arrival. Beyond that we were happy with all other accommodations and location was 10/10. Would return but make sure pool is open!

This was an okay place for a last minute weekend away. I booked two rooms for our group. One room had a loud AC that barely cooled the room and the other room had a shower that barely had any water pressure or hot water. Otherwise the rooms were very nice! The guests were loud throughout the night which was unfortunate. The area in general was loud which made for a rough night… probably more ideal for people that wanted to enjoy the nightlife.

First time to Hampden Beach, but I was pleasantly surprised by this facility. Turns out there are several little "beach motels" in the area, but the Ways Motel provided me with a great value. AK at the front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly, solving a minor issue I was having with a prompt and efficient response. The hotel steps away from the ocean and close to several bars and restaurants. This place should definitely be on your radar screen if you visit the area!

Nice stay!

Owners are very welcoming and friendly. This is an older property that has been renovated recently. It is a basic property, about a 5 minute walk to the beach, clean and comfortable. Certainly not high end, if that’s what you’re looking for. Blackout curtains in the rooms would be appreciated.

NOT 8.6/10! This place at best 2/10! No lamp shade on the lamp between the beds, the USB outlets in the lamp do not work, Sheetrock has visible damage that hasn’t been repaired, TV has no signal, steel bathroom fixtures are rusted, water damage stains on the ceiling, no sink in the bathroom, it’s at the foot of the bed area. Noisy and on a street corner, parking for large SUV or Truck is impossible here, you have to park out front with your vehicle blocking part of the sidewalk. Floors are spongy on the third floor, you can feel it flexing under your feet. Paint is peeling everywhere outside.

We arrived for an overnight to hang with our grandchildren for the day. The owner was very nice but the condition of the unit was just ok. The bed was comfortable and linens were clean but the bathroom left much to be desired! The shower head didn't work right and the shower curtain blew in as you showered and stuck to you! It was the tiniest shower I have ever seen. We also were woken at midnight to water coming through the ceiling in the bathroom from the unit above us. It was also a very noisy area due to the closeness of mutilple bars. Would not stay here again.

The property is very rundown. Inside of the rooms are very rundown when you walk into the room it looks clean but then when you get a closer look, it really is disgusting. I had to scrub the microwave inside and out the sink the tables and I don’t think I should’ve had to have done that I froze because I had a sheet on my bed that was it

The stairs were disgustingly dirty. The door to my room was beyond sticky, they mentioned it when i checked in. It took all my might to open it. Why not just fix the door? Once inside the room, it was quite nice. Nice restaurant across the street

I loved my stay here. The staff was so nice, friendly, and accommodating. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe. The pool isn’t heated, but being on the roof and directly on the sun the water is warm. I also loved this is a no smoking property because then I didn’t have to wake up and walk out into puffs of smoke. The property is also so clean. I loved that. There is a Chinese restaurant next door, a bar that has karaoke with happy hours and daily specials, and a three minute walk has the perfect coffee shop for breakfast along with a convenience store. You are close to every thing and can walk anywhere, but just the few minutes really keeps ya away from the craziness that Hampton can have. You are also a two minute walk from the beach. So it is absolutely perfect. I can’t say enough wonderful things about ways!
