This was a great place. Very close to both the Chateux Frontenac and the Plains of Abraham. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby in Old Quebec. The only downside that we had was that both my boyfriend and I are tall guys and we had the basement with a private bathroom. The basement is NOT for tall people as their is exposed pipes and air ducts that change the height of the space all throughout, dangerously so

Nice room in a historic building, close to the Château and the fortifications. Easy to walk to any part of the old town. Parking in the parkade just down the street.

Overall it's a good stay. The property is very old and the room was kept clean. Very close access to all old town restaurants. Area nearby is very lively with a lot of people hanging out on the streets. The hotel doesn't have any inhouse staff. Bathroom is very conjusted, but clean. The front desk closes by 6pm. But the check-in process was well coordinated by the front desk person, though we arrived after 6pm. Overall have a good experience.

The hotel is very well located. But it has some drawbacks: they don't send access information in advance; you have to ask for it. And sometimes there's no internet connection, for example. They gave us a room in the basement, where even the plumbing runs, with low ceilings. I'm not very tall and had to keep my head down all the time. The room was also very damp; I think they gave me the worst one.

The hotel is in a very quiet part of the upper town. The hotel might be considered quirky and my room was large and light-filled and there were some quirky aspects but I expected it and loved it. You need to be fit for all the walking you do in this city. I keep forgetting about the hills in the upper city but never forget the elevation between the upper and lower city.

I like that it is located walking distance to everything. Parking is difficult, but we get lucky. If you're patient, you will eventually find a parking spot. They do not clean your room in between nights or give you fresh towels or toilet paper.

Great location and clean. Take in mind is an old building, so don't expect new furniture. Room cleaning is only provided every 3 nights, this could be improved.
