Loved the 4 poster room it was spacious clean and very comfy bed lovely bathroom could do with a toilet roll holder as that was missing but still a lovely bathroom The bed was comfy only thing is its a double size so was a bit small for what we are used to as we have a super king but super comfy and great bed linen overall very happy with room the pub served great food really enjoyed the.cooked breakfast at an extra cost but very nice

Great location to stay on way to Cornwall. The room was very spacious and dog friendly. There is a lovely river walk to explore only a short stroll from the hotel. Parking was easy and the cold breakfast buffet was plentiful but hot food was available to order if you wanted more.

Excellent value Our room was very clean. There was a good supply of tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good. Other reviews comment on the loud music, etc. In our case there was no noise. The kitchen on both nights we ate there ran out of a number of options on the menu, the service was also very slow. On the middle night we were left with no water to the room due to a plumbing problem for which we received a partial refund.

Unfortunately shower wassnt working apart from the 1st night. Even though plumber was called we still couldn't use it for the rest of our stay, we'd and Thursday morning. This was a shame because the actual hotel experience was good. However the Manager was very understanding and offered a good reimbursement sum of money which we are waiting for.

Staff were lovely, food was amazing, the room was nice, it was a shame it was above the kitchen, music was blaring all evening, the bed was very uncomfortable one side, felt like springs sticking into my back, the other side was ok. We did enjoy our stay just maybe not that room in future.
