I would stay again

The Inn was comfortable and clean, and Bob was incredibly welcoming. From the mints in the room, to the snacks and healthy breakfast, this stay was so much nicer than staying in a hotel. It's a short drive from Kent State, and a great place to stay if you are in town for an event at the university.

The house inside was wonderful! Very clean and neat. The linens were soft and comfortable, snacks and access to fridge was a plus! The house on the outside was scarey, couldn't see the broken sign...almost didn’t want to go into the house. House manager was friendly!

The house inside is immaculate. Hospitality was great. Everything reminded me of the 19 century home mansions. Bed was comfortable. The entire house makes you feel like you were transported back to the 19th Century. I would love to come back again!

Quiet and lots of character!

We were attending a family wedding nearby and this was a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast food options were very nice and the location made it easy to find good dinner options and squeeze in some shopping and a movie. Loved the decor and appreciated the kind host. Will go back if we visit that region again.

Charming B&B close to Kent State and Cleveland

I selected this lodging because it is literally the only place to stay in Ravenna, and because I like antiques. This B&B exceeded my expectations. It is lovely, comfortable, warm and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. I had fun exploring the rooms and taking in all the antique furniture and art and collectibles. It has clearly been renovated recently (bathroom) and it's well-maintained, with period details. It was very clean. I loved the plants in the common rooms too. My only regret was that it was too cold to enjoy the beautiful porches. I will return to enjoy them, in the future. Highly recommend this place!

We have been in Kent three times the past year and always stay at the Rocking horse. We love its vintage charm and beautiful quaint neighborhood. Bob is extremely thoughtful with all the extras he provides. We will be back.
