Perfect place from which to explore Puebla

We stayed 2 nights in Puebla at the Casa Azulai and found it to be well beyond our expectations. The building is beautifully designed around an old Spanish era premises with the internal courtyard just perfect for relaxing with coffee before the day began or with a drink in the early evening. Our room was large and very comfortable. The location was perfect for us to explore Puebla - easy walking distance to all the central historic area - especially the amazing ceramic workshops and nearby markets. The staff were very helpful and we felt very looked after. We hope to return again.

I never write reviews but this little hotel was such nice surprise. People were amazing, very knowledgeable, very helpful with directions and information about the area and if they were not sure they were very eager to find out more information for me, very sweet and very nice people. My room was very clean and very nice. The hotel is close to the center of town so it was very easy to walk every where but at the same time it was quiet and relaxing. I am already planning my next trip to Puebla and Casa Azulai.

La atención fue muy buena, es antiguo la casona pero se ve que hicieron remodelaciones y está muy bonito y acogedoras las habitaciones, la ubicación es buena, únicamente el estacionamiento no está lejos pero si está pasando la avenida. El desayuno muy bueno, tarda un poco pero vale la pena. Lo recomiendo al 100

We had booked a two-night stay, but we only ended up spending one night. We discovered a more comfortable hotel nearby. The first room we had had thin windows, allowing us to hear the traffic from a busy street. Consequently, we switched to another room. The shower head had cold water running, the beds were uncomfortable, the door handle kept falling off, and the breakfast was bland. I ended up not eating my breakfast. It was also so unusual to feel like the only guests in the hotel.

The hotel building is very beautiful as it is decorated with Talavera in a colonial style. It has elevator which was very helpful because with people on wheelchair. The people was very helpful and provided us all the attention to have a great stay in Puebla. Totally recommended!

Es un hotel muy bonito, ubicado en una casona remodelada y bien acondicionada, con una decoración muy linda. Está cerca del centro y de muchos restaurantes. El desayuno es bueno, aunque recomiendo no contratarlo desde Expedia, ya que resulta más caro que pagarlo directamente en el hotel. El único inconveniente es el estacionamiento. No cuentan con valet, así que hay que descargar las maletas en la calle mientras los coches ya te están pitando. Después, hay que llevar el auto a un estacionamiento cruzando el boulevard y regresar caminando al hotel, además de que no está incluido en el costo de la reserva. Fuera de eso me pareció una buena opción para hospedarse cerca del centro de Puebla.
