Excellent NYC Stay

The room was small for two people and trying to find places to put your stuff. They didn't have any extra luggage stands and the closet was very narrow. We stayed two weeks so it got cramped. We were in the front and it was noisy late at night with construction or trash trucks. The shower was a pleasure, big and with a raintree head. Lots of light in the room which is often found in NYC. I don't know why I had to do all the security self check-in because there was always someone at the front reception. They were supper nice! We had a lot of luggage and they stored it and brought it to our room when it was ready. Thank you!! Overall for the city it was a really great place. Everyone was friendly and terrific area.

Recent stay in New York

My daughter Nicola McGiffin and friends stayed at your hotel from August 10th to 20th and had a wonderful stay at your hotel. They did have a very traumatic experience however the day they arrived where they were in the elevator as it dropped at least one floor, and were rescued from the elevator once the fire crews extricated them after 20 minutes of being stuck. Her and her friends remained calm and were not hurt in the incident. My daughter had mentioned that this occured and mentioned this to the front desk. Is it possible to have any credit applied to this hotel stay to compensate for this experience on their first day in New York? I hrlped my daughter and her friends to pay for this stay and felt I should send a message. While their stay overall was pleasant, I was concerned when I was told of their experience.

Comfortable hotel in great location

The location of this hotel is great and we enjoyed our stay. The room was nice, and the bed was very comfortable. Using the Sonder app for check-in and as a key was helpful. There were a few issues with the bathroom: the shower door didn't really close well so often leaked water onto the floor, there were a couple of hairs in the bathroom, and one morning there was no hot water. Outside of those issues we were very happy with the stay.
