The Hotel Staff was super helpful. Great location. The room was beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding. The hallway leading to the rooms was very dark. Construction out in front of the hotel made me score it 4 of 5.

I rarely do reviews but I would like to say, the staff at Brown’s Avenida hotel are so kind and so good and helpful. They made my stay very pleasant. Oh the hotel is also super cute! I love how intimate it was. I’ll be back!

Shame major works were going on right outside the hotel so there was some noise. In the rooms there is a Marshall music speaker - not sure it’s a great idea unless you have very considerate neighbours. We had to go down to reception twice after midnight as the music was so loud from the room next door we could tell what song they were playing in our room! Good location, pool a definite bonus and breakfast was good too. The honesty bar was a nice touch too.

Pleasant place to stay in Lisbon

Very pleasant stay, great location for shopping and walking into the centre of town, great staff. Book your own taxis, hotel taxi is €40 to airport whereas it costs €8 with Uber. Breakfast is ok, better to order rather than use the buffet.

Stylish hotel, amazing service and staff. The pool and rooftop very beautiful. But the bed in the room is not comfy. The mattress is very hard and the sheets not very smooth. The pillows were not soft and goose feather as you expect from a 5 star hotel.

Staff couldn't do enough for you. Room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel set out ready well with inspired hi ray bar, roof terrace and pool. Food was great quality, well served and staff flexible and accommodating with requests. Reception sorted out local transport, maps and restaurant reservations for us without issue.

First, the staff are so warm, welcoming, and professional. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with modern decor. Our junior suite was very comfortable with lots of natural light, luxurious bathtub, and well-appointed bathroom with shower. The location is perfect, so close to many Portuguese restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Many luxury brand stores are just a block away. We Highly recommend Brown’s Avenue, and will definitely return in the future.

Overall it is an ok hotel for a routine stay in Lisbon, however there was a gentlemen at the reception who was not very welcoming bordering arrogant even, they should be more careful about that

Dinner service - ordered drinks with dinner, they never came. Finished our food and asked for the check. Drinks were included in the bill even though they were never made. The hotel gives free drink cards at check in. We let the waiter know we had them - maybe there was confusion about how to submit them in the system. Just kind of annoying.

I was on a solo trip and Brown’s was the perfect hotel for me in a central location. Staff are wonderful. Nothing is a problem. They are very friendly and helpful. My bedroom was beautifully appointed and the hotel is next door to a fabulous restaurant called Honest Greens. As a solo female traveller it is great to find a great restaurant close by. I plan to return to Lisbon and this would be my hotel of choice. Thank you to all staff at Browns.

We loved staying at this hotel, there are so many little touches that make it feel really special. The staff are absolutely fantastic and go out of their way to go over and above. Probably the best hotel staff team I have come across. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had everything and more that we needed for a great stay. The pool was especially nice and the honesty bar a nice touch. We enjoyed the library too, which is a lovely additional space. The location is perfect: not too close to the loudness of the city but easily walkable to everything within 10 minutes and right next to a metro. It felt like a very safe part of town. Thank you to everyone at Browns Avenue for a lovely stay.
