For being an older building,the inside was nice,was very quiet,I would recommend if you're not looking for a lot of amenities.I'm 5'11, finally a shower,I didn't have to stoop down & had room to spare. I needed a reading lamp, other than that,great room,for the price.

It was an older property and was kept up and clean. Not updated and room arrangement seemed odd as it had a sink and a long counter around it. Microwave was on a shelf under TV. It worked for a night stay with no high expectation on our travel to Texas.

While the room itself was what we paid for, no ironing board or iron, refrigerator didn't work, AC not even cool air, it was hot and humid out 75 felt like 90 outside and fan like air wasn't cutting it. The area of town I didn't feel safe. The guy staying in room next door had a lot of traffic as in pretty sure was selling drugs. Staff that checked us in when finally came to window was nice and pleasant, the staff when checking out looked asleep and was 930am was grumpy and rude. If had to do it all over again id sleep in my car.

If you stay here be prepared to bring anything you need with you. No lamp, no clock, no shampoo, etc. provided. No access to management either. Door is locked so you can't get in to talk to anyone. There is a bell and a little window but if someone responds to the bell you can't hear anything said do to the very noisy traffic right there. It was clean

Cons: Towels were stained, room had a musky smoke smell, pillows were lumpy more like a bean bag than a pillow. Couldn’t use the refrigerator due to it being disgusting. Pros: AC was cold, bed was comfy. Windows were frosted so you couldn’t see in. TV worked fine. Over all was okay for the price.

We had not been in the room 5 minutes when roaches crawlled out from under the bed. We immediately packed up and left. When i inquired about a refund the manager would not do it saying he would talk to expedia and see what he could do. Please expedia help me with the refund.

Remodeled, clean, good price

Remodeled. Neatly painted. No cracks anywhere. No carpets, which makes it very clean!! Granite counters. Excellent choice for the price if you don't need amenities or lots of room, and if you don't mind a noisy AC. No coffee. They don't offer nor advertise NON- SMOKING rooms, so we were hesitant about booking with them. The lady said that they don't have non- smoking rooms because people are going to smoke anyway (???). I would stay there again :)

A Poor Choice!

There was hardly a stick of furniture in the room…..no place to set a suitcase or bag down. Hotels.com said the cost was $67.98 including tax. The woman charged me $72.50! When I showed her my confirmation with $67.98 she refused to refund the $4.52 overcharge and made up an excuse: the downstairs rooms cost more! First she gave me a room that stunk of cigarettes. I told her I could not breathe, let alone sleep in that disgusting room. She changed the room to one that did not stink. This was the worst accommodation of an 11 day cross country trip.
